Hi Gabrielle!! God bless you! Well in respone to your question, I believe that my porpuse of my life is strictly and only to serve the Lord with all my strength, capacity and might to establish HIS Knigdom here on earth and to render Him ALL the Glory wich he deserves!!! I believe that He has called me specificly to the ministry of music and worship!! I consider that such a blessing !!!! sometimes when i give it deep though i end up on my knees before the Lord thanking him for such a gift! I mean out of BILLIONS of people He could of chosen from to give this beutiful gift to He gave it to me!!!! I mean, WOW!! I sometimes jus wanna shed tears of joy because its such an honor to serve Him in such a way!!! i mean you use the music and worship to go into His precence!!! You actually LEAD others or you show them the way to have an encounter with GOD!!! Even as I write i feel this STRONG and UNENDING joy just thinking of it!! I mean, what more could i ask for? i will do my best to make thee best out of this wonderful gift He has given me to win souls for Him! I don't know if I'm exagerating a bit here but its all coming from my heart and with and amaizing joy! it is in times like this when I'm expressing my love for Him that I loose it and feel like jumping up and down out of joy and just praising Him!! If I feel this way and worship is this good here on earth, how much better do you think it will feel and be in heaven when ALL of us are gathered together in one spirit just worhiping Him FOREVER and EVER adn EVER!! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET UP THERE!!!! peace out!

Thanks for posting your views. That's cool. Hey I totally understand how you're feeling. Especially when you said you sometimeswhen you give it deep thought you end up on your knees. I often end up in tears when I think of the fact that Jesus gave His life up for ME. Wretched ol me. But that's His great love and mercy man. Just amazing!
I'm a worship leader too and I just love worshipping. I love singing and I thank God for this talent. I wanna be a good steward of this talent. I've been writing some songs over these years. I've been writing songs about the past experiences that God's brought me through from. It's been amazing. I dare not say that my songs are any good. But I pray that as these songs have ministered to me and healed me in many ways, let them be used to bless and heal many other people around me. I've got a song of mine put up on my website www.gabbytham.com . Check it out and tell me what you think about it. It's one of the first songs I ever wrote - when I was about 16 I think.
I believe strongly that God created me for His pleasure. He created me so that He can enjoy me, my fellowship. I need to work at our relationship, just like we work on any of our relationships. Also now that I've tasted of God's goodness and His love, my other purpose in life is to share this love to those who still don't know Him.
I pray that my life will be a strong testimony to the world around me. It's a hard thing to do 'cause we're fallen creatures and our sinful nature fights so strongly to prevail. But we need to give over the reigns to Jesus EVERY SINGLE DAY and say, "Jesus, take Your place in the throne of my life."
Man it's hard! But as long as I keep willing to please Him...I know He'll help me by His Spirit. Can't guarentee that I'll be in His will all the time. But I strive to. He'll help me, I know!
Yeah...my purpose in life is to love God and know Him deeply and be His ambassador here on earth! YEAH!

Watz up Gabrielle!! well its cool to see that you have a strong calling and porpuse from the Lord!! don't give up in the face of problems or dificulties, they are notinh but "pebbles" and not "mountains" when the ALMIGHTY has your back! so keep presing on!!! remenber that each time you overcome in the name of the Lord you've just landed one on the devil's face!!!!!!! ohh yeah, about the song, i could'nt get in the web site.... it would'nt let me but I'm sure its awsome and of great blessing!!! peace out!

HEY GUYS WELL I DONT KNOW MY PURPOSE IN LIFE I WISH I DID HELP ME PRY FOR IT YEAH PLEASE !!!

Well, like Nadine I am not exactly sure where God wants to lead me in life.

HOWEVER...I know it is something to glorify him. I've been given many gifts...I am very thankful for them, and could not use them if it weren't for Jesus! I write songs, I can sing (though not very well), and I have general musical talents that, if practiced and tuned, could be put to good use. I also have other gifts...I write well in general (or so my family/teachers always told me lol), I am very observant, and I tend to understand people, whereas others just don't get them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging at all...I don't think I've ever admitted to anyone that these are "talents" but if you think about it, they are. I want to use them for the glory of Christ. I am very interested in psychology and politics too. I have the ability to understand things that belong in politics where some may not at all! (Of course, that was sort of taught to me but...) Anyway

I have always felt (I don't know why; I just do) that I would probably end up marrying a preacher...that doesn't mean I only date preachers or anything (I know God will send the right man at the right time), but it just seems like that may be the case. I always thought I would minister to youth...that's my passion..teenagers. I have a special compassion and understanding for them I guess.

But until I find out for sure what I need to be doing...I am going to go to college and major in psychology. For now, I think that's where God is leading me. I don't know if I'll ever end up using my degree or not..I want to have a family and have some sort of ministry and all. BUT I do think it is best for women to have some sort of way to make money if their husband dies or leaves them.

I've gone on and on about this when all I really had to say was, I want to glorify God in all I do. I want to follow Him no matter what; even when I can't see what's going on; even when it scares me to think of what's going to happen in the future. But he has given me talents and gifts that I plan on using...for instance, if I become a psychologist or something, I can still use my musical skills in church like I always have. I think that every talent he gave us should be used...but in the right way. And it's up to us to let him lead us there.

You know what? As for us Christians, our purpose in life is one and the same. It's the acting out of that purpose that takes on different ways depending on who we are and how God's created us to be as everyone's different and special in their own ways.
God created us for His pleasure. When He created Adam, He created him to fellowship with Himself. God created us to fellowship with Him. We need to work on that. Above and beyond what He's called you to do in life - the one most important purpose of Him creating you is for His pleasure. For Him to enjoy you and you to enjoy Him. So your relationship with Jesus is so important.
Then comes the second purpose of your life which is to tell people about the love that you've found in Jesus. To love your neighbor as yourself. Actually your purpose in life is found in God's Word in Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
So don't despair Nadine. Our purpose in life is the same. It's only the acting out of that purpose that will come as you continue to seek God's face and desire to do His will. Don't despair...be encouraged and be blessed!
Love Jesus and love His people - that's your purpose in life! Make sure that your relationship with Jesus is secure and solid - work on it everyday. Then desire to be more and more like Him as you go through each day! YEAH!
