I haven't gotten a chance to go to a concert yet! I really want to go to one! Their going to be in my area this weekend, but I won't be here. I will be in New Mexico. I really wanted to go, but I can see them another time.

haha i lost count.. i know i've passed 30... i think it's been like 35 or maybe even 40... who knows. and that's counting just the event.. i dare not even count how many sets (say the guys played two shows in an evening) i've seen or the number of sound checks i've sat through..
 it's scary, really. |

I've been to 3 since Dec. Which was the first time I had heard of them. I'll be seeing them again in July in St Louis. (If everything works out).

Just wondering and if you don't mind me asking, Do you work for them (Salvador) or is your job description something that coordinates concerts or something? Mannn....can you hook me up or you guys need a helping hand?  just kidding, are you lucky or what? Well because I saw your pics with the guys and you even get a chance to hold Salvador’s award (Dove award)  very cool... |

no i don't work for them... but i've pretty much done anything that needed to be done at a show to help the guys out... ie... load in/load out... set up/sold the merchandise... taken pablo to/from shows.. taken a few of the guys to the airport... etc.. etc.. etc.. you name it... i've probably done it.. the guys are just friends... and generally i've just tried to help them whenever i could... i've just been blessed to be able to travel and see them over 4 years.
And about the Dove Award... I had gone to the Doves last year and worked backstage with the production crew with a friend of mine who knew someone who knew someone who needed help backstage... I ran into Nic after he had accepted the award and said a quick hello but I was escorting another artist to another area... so I didn't have a chance to say anything more...but.. a few days later.. I saw the guys in Springfield, IL and Simone and I hijacked the bus before the guys soundchecked to put Nic and Pablo's birthday presents in there.. and the Dove was sitting on the table.. Bevins told us we could do whatever we wanted to do with it... so we decided to steal it and take a few pics... so that's where the pic came from... |

, but i wanna go to the Rock the Desert festival in Midland, and, next year i think in april they´re gonna be in Piedras Negras, Coahuila (México), So I´ll be there for sure. Patty |

Im from Seattle too .. we are so in need of concerts here!! I have only been to one concert and I also saw them at a Harvest Crusade in California about 3 years ago or so. Biz what a blessing to be able to participate in the backstage stuff .. I would love to be in a sound check .. I like that sound stuff. Where do you live Biz?? If you don't mind me asking |

I live in a litttttle bitty town in Southern Illinois... very centrally located so that drives aren't that bad.. ((i LOVE roadtrips and am blessed to be able to afford it)) but being used to a 20 minute drive to civilization.. a few hours in the car is nothing... I've seen Salvador in like 11 or 12 states though... i think. I can't remember it's been that many haha. |
