I was blessed to be on the K Love Cruise and hear numorous amazing concerts including, of course, Salvador! So I thank Salvador for leading us in some awesome worship and for also tearing down the wall between the artists and passengers! That definitely stood out! I hope you guys go next year!!!!!!!!!!
I just recently found this site, and while perusing the messageboards I found your post regarding the K-Love cruise. My husband, son and I and two of our closest friends were on the K-Love cruise, too! We were so blessed to go on this cruise and even more blessed to be able to see Salvador in concert 3 times! We found the band and their music to be so full of the Lord's joy and passion that we even braved the cold, windy air of the Lido Deck at 11:30 p.m. on Mexican Buffet Night to see them play again. They even came back on stage for an encore, which they had not planned for it seems, but were so gracious to do. I think there possibly could have been a mutiny if they had't! Before the cruise, we had only their first CD, but when we got back home from the cruise, we made it a priority to buy all the rest their CD's, especially their Spanish one. Our son, who is 11, was so excited to be going on the cruise because he was going to see the Newsboys, but the real surprise highlight for him was seeing and falling in love with the joyful Latin music of Salvador. I believe I can say the same for my husband and I, too, as well as our dining companions with whom we sat and ate with every night of the cruise. None of them had ever even heard of Salvador before, but they left the ship along with us as huge fans.
