Heya people!
I've recently purchased another 2 salvador CD's from the site. I'm taken back by the music God has created through these guys. I am interested in the guitars the band uses, and amps, pedals, etc.. I noticed it said they use Gibson guitars on the CD sleeve. It would be appreciated if someone could elaborate on any models of their gear. I've played guitar for 10 years and enjoy listening to alot of different music. The sound those guys have is so pure, warm and fresh (can I use those words together?). Any knowledge put forward would be great. Cheers! |

Hey guitarplayer,
Great to read "you're taken back by the music God has created through the guys" as this is what it's all about!!! Regarding your question I'm not a pro on guitar topics but what's written on the bios of the site www.salvadorlive.com will certainly give you a little bit of an info on Nic and Joël's models (click on the photo to read personal bios). God bless you. John 8 v.12 & John 8 v.28-29 Céline |

seems they favor the warm Humbucker tone of the Gibson line......although Nic does have a Tele.....I'll never play anything but my Fenders....but if you slap some Seymour Duncans in a Strat you can get a very nice warm tone from that as well. I must admit though I have an Ibanez (gibson 335 copy) and it has a very nice sound.

Hey as you know they use gibson guitars. Nic and Joel have a fender since there new album So Natural but other than that they use gibsons and one of them is a Chet Akins acoustic/electric it is pretty awesome
