I'm not talking about anyone in particular...this was just an open thread...sheeesh.
It's an OPINION based question.
Yes we all have sinned, but do you think it's right for those who take a stage, be presented to people as being annointed, and blessed, yet they can't even sent an example at living a Christian life?

Be shocked and probably stop listening to them.I know we have all sinned, but that group's gonna lead me astray, then I have no reason to listen anymore.

You know I totally agree with you guys. It's hard for ME, I'm talking about me okay, to stand up in front of a crowd and say I love you God and lift my hands to Him and proclaim His name over my life and then turn around and pick up a beer and get drunk. I think if you're going to be that way, you shouldn't put yourself in the spotlight and act like you're all holy because you're just bringing God's judgment to your head. Well them guys have a conscience I"m sure. Their parents are pastors so they know right for wrong for sure. So just pray for them. It must be hard to do the fame thing when you're a Christian. But truly they are good guys I'm sure.
Wow where did all the people come from? Welcome! Well, I understand where everyone is coming from. I don't think it is right to be one thing on Sunday (or in this case infront of a audience praising God) and on the monday going out and drinking/partying. How can you minister to others if you can't even minister to yourselves. And to the person who said those without sin cast the first stone, I don't think we are casting any stones just stating how we feel about this, as how some people may be role models and not be what they appear to be.
and they all posted on the same day, after days of nothing.
I wouldn't be listening to a christian group or artist if they were getting drunk. I know some of them drink but that is their choice, and I know of at least one who occasionally goes to clubs-even performs in them-like the Vipor room in Hollywood (You know, where River Phoenix died in front of it, I believe after he overdosed on something) Yes, he has gotten a lot of critisicm for the way he lives his life, but I figure it's his life and he has to stand before the Lord one day, so who am I to judge.
what's sad is that there are church leaders out there, that decieve the people, and put on a front. There are leaders and there are followers. Yes I know that we all sin, but if you can't have enough self decipline to live a life of honestly, God fearing, and Annointed, then don't offer to become a church leader until you've made a commitment with GOd, and yourself that you're able to do these type of things.
