Hey guys, I just wanted to get your guys' opinion on the movie "Constantine". its about the batlle between heaven and hell. would it be wrong to see it?

I actually want to go see that movie. Well...to me, I think it's just a movie. I find that I get alot out of movies when I watch them. God speaks to me loads. Like once when I watched X-Men 2, I felt God kept telling me that He's the Lord of all the earth. Nothing can ever happen without His knowledge and approval. It was such a time at the movies! It was like I was listening to a sermon rather than watching a movie! Hehehe, but it doesn't happen all the time!
So my views are - I'm gonna watch it. But I guess you have to be mature in the Lord to be able to know what's right and wrong and what to believe and what not to. I wouldn't be too rigid in saying what to watch and what not to watch. I would say...if you feel uneasy about watching it - then don't. If you're alright about it - then go for it.
After all it's only a movie. That's my point of view.

i kinda wanted to see that movie cuz i'm a big fan of Keanu Reeves but i was wondering the same thing about it too.

The normal average person goes to the movies for entertainment purposes only. I don't believe they live their lives based upon the movies they see. If you have 20 bucks and you feel like seeing a movie, then go and have some popcorn and enjoy.

I watched the movie on Valentine's Day with my little brother (he's 17). I enjoyed the movie and so did my bro. The way they depicted hell just blew my mind away. But as I was watching the hell scenes, I felt God say to me, "Your never gonna end up there cos you're my child and you're gonna be with Me." I felt so comforted. But at the same time, I felt like a line of names came into my mind of the people around me who don't know Jesus yet.
Man we need to share the love of Jesus all around. May our lives be as salt - may we live out lives in a way that will make those around us thirsty for Jesus and may our lives be light - may our lives be directing those around us to Jesus.

My brother and a couple of our friends went to see it last week, and he said he enjoyed it a lot. He said there were a couple of things that he thought were sort of "iffy" but as a whole the movie was good.
