Hi Everyone....I just wanted to to find out what everyones favorite scripture(s) are.

I love to read the Bible , but some of my favorite parts of the scripture are Proverbs and Romans.
Why proverbs you may ask? well cause it talks about wisdom .
and is good to read a chapter each day cause it has 31chapters and if you read it in the morning you think about it all day and you learn a lot
"daily chapter".

I like Romans cause it talks about how a Christian should live the right way.
I love the scriptures cause is inspired by God.

There's to many for me to mention.

But one that is personal to me is:

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path.

Provers 3:5-6

I like to read in Proverbs and psalms. But my favorite verse is Psalms 91:1

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.

This verse has got me through some tough times in the past couple years.

my favorite book is Ephesians.. I have tons of favorite scriptures, including Nehemiah 8:10..

Hmmm....very good topic starter, Doc! Here are a couple of my absolute fav's, verses that I strive everyday to live by:

"Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
-1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"Don't let anyone lead you astray with empty philosophy and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the evil powers of this world, and not from Christ."
-Colossians 2:8

-Proverbs 2:1-11 <--check it out! Tells you all about the benefits of having wisdom from God (too long to paste here).

I love these verses, for they comfort me, and help me not to dwell on the hurtful things in this world.
