On February 9th of this year, two very precious lives were ended. My best friend Zuri(20), and her older brother Isai(24), were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. They lived a life based on their faith, and did the extreme to bring the youth to a true encounter with God. Salvador really inspired Zuri to keep her faith strong, and being latin, we could really identify with the music. We attended both of the Salvador concerts in Colorado last year, and that was the first time I heard Salvador. Zuri was always singing one of Salvador's songs, and had all the girls at church singing them too. Like a lot of girls, Zuri was really excited to take a picture with Nic at one of the concerts. So, I really wanted to tell Salvador, thanks. God has used you guys, and is using you in ways that you probably didn't imagine. Every time I hear one of Salvador's songs, I can only think of the beautiful moments Zuri and I spent in God's presence. We used to always talk about the Heaven song, and I believe that one day we will be up there singing to our Lord. From the bottom of my heart, I thank God for Zuri and Isai, and for using Salvador to bring us together not only in God, but as friends. Please pray for the Flores family, and don't waste the time God has given you, but go out there and spread the fire that's in your heart.
Man, what a great way to remember two of God's fallen soldiers. If they were my friends, I couldn't have said it better myself. I guess the worst part of losing a loved one is the agony of being left behind. My prayers are with you and the Flores family. May God keep them in His protection and give them peace. The Holy Spirit is with them and strengthens them daily. I pray for you too, that the Lord allows you to use this event as a testimony to your faith and the faith of your beloved friends, so that you can continue the mission of sharing God's love with others, that you would continue to encourage others like myself to do the same. In His name I pray....AMEN!

Vanessa, I can honestly tell you that I have learned to rely on God only. He is the only one whom we can run to, and find the peace that this world cannot offer. A week before the accident, my grandfather passed away and his funeral was on my birthday. I remember that Zuri told me that the strenght I needed, could only come from God. With the Lord you can face what you could never face alone. Thank you for praying for the Flores family, and God Bless You.
