My dad lets me listen to almost anything....unless it's like really bad or something...

Well yeah. When I was like "I gotta be cool" so I listened to system of a down :P They stink so bad. There are so many cuss words.

Same here with my parents, I still love Christian music much more than the mainstream stuff. So I kind-of choose too.

i live with my mom and sis and my mom don't really care as long as it is pleasing to the Lord. I sometimes listen to rap like kj-52 and tobymac or like rock like skillet and she may not like the music but it's christian so she is ok with it besides i'm 26 it's not like she can tell me what to do anymore. i'm only home on the weekends anyway cuz im @ school all week. na shes never been too strict about music.

Yeah, my parents don't care what I listen to. my dad listens to anything from ozzy to van zant. my mom listens to anything on the radio. so yeah they don't mind that green day and blink-182 are some of my favorite bands.

My parents are strict as long as it's christian. if not I can't listen to it. Which I don't mind. My favorite band is Hawk Nelson and my Dad and mom like them. My dad takes me to all the Hawk Nelson concerts that come near! My mom and dad Love tobyMac!

Yea...It stinks...Like I wanna listen to like...Linkin Park, Simple Plan, Three Days Grace, Some rap...So there like 65% strict probably...

my parents strict ...... ya its like there job to box me in i cant listen to anything but christian but oh well my friend les me listen to em at his house

my parents dont care what i listen to if its rap they dont want to hear it so i listen to it on my mp3 player i listen to alot of different types of music mostly christian my parents arent strict that much they let me be my own person and let me learn from my own mistakes

My parents let me listen to anything...but sometimes they'll say something if they don't like it....

It's funny that you say you're parents don't like Hawk Nelson because my parents absolutely love them. It's kinda weird actually. My parents are strict about what I listen to though. I don't listen to anything with cussing and the let me listen to basically anything that's Christian. If it's screamo and you can't tell what the guys are saying or the videos are demonic looking then my parents don't approve but TobyMac and Hawk Nelson are both bands that really speak out about their faith.

My parents arnt strict about the music i listen 2 my dad actualy is starting 2 like hard core but my mom hates it .too bad eh practicaly every one in my family likes hn at leas the 1s who live in my state.i hate listening 2 non christian music unless the band members r christian i heard that hannah montanna is christian.

My parents are pretty responsible but what I listen to is ny own buissness sooo they only say something if the reallyyy don't like it...

my parents are overprotective...
but they still let me listen to most music...

plus.. it's not like there's not other ppl at the party...

You is much more understaniding then me...I complain about them when they get on my nerves...but my parents are strict about dating....My mother still says I;m to young to date....
