i found somethin bout hn that i didn't know b4 (amazing i know lol) anyway.....Before/during the early stages of recording Saturday Rock Action (2003), the band's name was Reasonbeing.
Prior to the formation of Hawk Nelson, Dunn, Clark, and Paige had formed the Peterborough-based group called Swish, while Biro sang lead vocals in a four-piece group called the Cheese Monkeys from Planet Nine from Barrie, Ontario.
i didn't think dan was 1 to be like a lead singer although i luv the vid on youtube where jason is like havin "technical difficulties" & so he like took over..pretty funny & like Cheese Monkeys from Planet Nine...wow nice name lol

Well, i know I've seen them in concert twice. I saw them at Winter Slam last December and at Winterjam this January. At the January concert, i got a Hawk Nelson hoodie... the one they dont have on their own site anymore... and i got them to sign it. I also got Britt Nicole to sign it and Tony Nolan and the Sanctus Real guys. I wanted Jeremy Camp to sign it but the line was way to long! At the December one i got tobyMac's auto and Aiyesha Woods and her brothers.

Anyways... enough with my talking about that. Back to Hawk Nelson...

His week... In a nutshell (posted on May 8th)at 3:37 PM his time
"We're currently on tour with some great bands- MXPX, The Classic Crime, The Fold and Sullivan. We started in Seattle and have worked our way down the coast!
The first night in Seattle, Tosti and I were walking down Pine Street in Capital Hill, when a crazed lady approached Tosti and started talking to him. I was in the bathroom, so I wasn't aware of what was going on. When I went outside, the lady came up to me and started blabbering nonsense about her losing her wallet and other random things. Me, being an idiot, asked her if she wanted a hug. Usually being turned down, the cocaine-addicted lady accepted my offer, and lunged herself upon me, and I stood there helpless. In those 12 really awkward seconds, the drunk managed to get her wet lips around my neck for a little action. Me, disgusted, pushed her away in a panic-stricken fashion. Tosti and I continued our journey back to the concert venue...

Day 2-Portland, Oregon

Nothing too exciting happened on this day. At least I can't remember anyways.

Day 3- San Francisco, California

Making our way down the coast, we had the day off. I went to a Giants game. They were playing the Phillies. It was freezing so I left at about the 5th inning. Besides, the Phillies were smoking them like 9-2 or something.

Day 4- Los Angeles, California

I rented a car this day because Lenay was coming down to visit for the weekend. After the show at the Avalon in downtown LA, I bolted for the airport.
After getting the wrong directions from people who shall remain nameless. I arrived at the airport around 12:35 am (her flight got in a like 11:50). Once I got Lenay, we headed down to San Diego for the show the next day!

Day 5- San Diego, California

Lenay and I went to the beach. We rollerbladed around the paved circuit and played football. She was way better than I thought. We were playing a game of skunk, and knowing me, I'm a fairly competitive guy! I ended up trying to throw it really hard at her, but she wouldn't drop the ball. Needless to say, I was quite impressed. Then we went to Target. It's like a tradition for us. Every state we go to, we get our picture taken at a Target in that state. It feels really good. So we got our picture taken, and then we headed to Quiznos. There is a Quiznos on Rosecrans Ave in San Diego that is seriosly the greatest Quiznos ever (sorry Jenn)!!! I'm not kidding, when I bit into my chicken carbonara, I got goosebumps. It was divine!!

Day 6- San Diego

Another day off, the tour continued onto Anaheim. I stayed in San Diego and went to the San Diego Zoo. Did a ton of walking! It was lovely though!! At night, I dropped Lenay off at the San Diego airport and headed to Anaheim to meet up with everyone!

Day 7- Anaheim, California

We played at the historic House of Blues in Anaheim. I have Goldfinger's live dvd and it is filmed here. It felt pretty sweet to play there!!

Day 8- Tempe, Arizona

We're now heading east toward the midwest. Tonight in Tempe. Should be good. I contemplated getting a tattoo tonight, but haven't moved yet! I'm working on a song for a buddy of mine. Hopefully I'll get that done within the hour. I'll probably hit up a Quiznos too for some dinner shortly!!"

but one night the power went off in my house and my computer shut down and it logged me off
and i couldn't log back in cuz i couldnt remember my password or anything!!
so i made my new name as close as possible to my old one!!

trevor mcnevan (thousand foot kruutch) lived in the same hometown and went to the same church as jason
jason wasn't a christtian until 15 (i believe thats right)

Uhh...Well...Jason Dunn has Diabetes. That stinks...I know people that went on tour with Hawk, they were in the Winter Jam. So I know that for sure.I really wanted to go backstage and meet them, but Hawk was playing right after the people we know. And I couldn't miss them. Anyway, Got the "Hawk nelson is my friend" T-shirt and Jason did what was close to a stand-up comedy act xD. It was funny.

Look, I love Jason too, hes really cute. But hes older than 20 and has a girlfriend. So don't be too obcessed over him, be too obcessed over Hawk! Keep on Loving Jesus everyone!-Gal

xD Ok..The reason why I said that is because I am. lol Seriously I am way too obcessed. Who went to the Winter Jam?, because I know the people playing the guitars for Steven Curtis Chapman...There lucky people. Thats how I found out about Jason's diabetes.

it's def. them. they r like really cool in person i got to talk with aaron jason and dan after a beyond measure show in october and they were totally cool and really funny (i think after they were done signin jon was tired so he went on out to the bus)
