im going to start learning to skatebord in the summer , do you have any tips ?

Get gear. Elbow pads,knee pads,helmet...wait skip the helmet...but seriously,GET GEAR!
I learned with out it...ouch....

The most important safety tip I can think of is to watch out for small rocks on the pavement. I've had a few close calls with rocks. Sometimes the smallest one that you can see is the one that will mess up your day.

Oh, and always wear your helmet! Most skaters don't wear one because they think they look better without it, but let me tell you, I always wear mine.

The only kind of helmet i have is a bike helmet....I know I'd look super stupid if I wore that!

I play guitar and write lyrics to songs...i've only been playing for less than a year though so i'm not "great"..i play drums and sing too..
