I just wanted to post this topic to see if any of you had a song that you would call your anthem and why that song means so much to you.
For me the song that I consider mine is Superchic[k]'s song Stand In The Rain. The reason that song means so much to me is that last year and actually right now I was going through a VERY difficult time and whenever I turned on the radio that song was either on right then or was getting ready to be played. I just want to say that It was that song that kept me going and it let me know that it was going to be okay.  "4 of you tried to kill me, and 1 of you succeeded!" man, idk there are so many i'm like thinkin either average girl by barlowgirl cuz even tho i like still like guys and everything plus i have plenty of great friends who are guys, i don't completly focuz on guys. or Clothes by barlowgirl cuz i hatge how now everyone wants to wear less & less clothes. & i'm totally all about modesty, i mean hey u can be modest & stylish too.

I know what you mean about the clothes issue. It's disgusting when I go to the mall see all these girls that have on low rise jeans and tops that show everything it's gross!

What's nasty is those shorts that are so short the butt cheeks hang out...fat girls who wear skin tight stuff is repulsive as well. My song ? Hmm.. I've got a lot. i would have to say that my song is "mirror" by bg, it speaks so much to me! plus i totally love singing it!

ya i totally agree, i probably relate to a lot of their songs cuz they sing a lot to girls (well boys to, but i feel girls can relate a lil more) i really like them

My song for the past month or so has been Praise You In This Storm by Casting Crowns, because on March 1st i had a stroke, and it rally made me believe in God that much more. The song really helped me through my time in the hospital, and now while i get back to normal.

I would have to say that "Not I" by Demon Hunter is my song because i am having a rough time with a girl in school and i will definetly not comform to what i see in her, i wont surrender what i am, and even if it was a part of me, i will never be that way again! It is so cool.

^^ luv ya!^ luv ya too! my song would prolly be...let me think...uh...The One Thing I Have Left By Hawk Nelson(Of Course!) because it shows that no matter how much you take away from me you will never change my love for God and who i really am. i am not about to lie and say i am not a christian. You can take the one thing i have left but i will not deny my love.

Lol. I love reliant K I came sooooo close to seeing them in in concert in march when they came to chicago but when I called to get tickets they were all sold out. I was soooo sad! idk wut my song would be...
hmm.. my song would be "me and Jesus" when me and Jesus first came out on radio, i was going through i really hard time with my christian life.... i would forget to pray, or start thinking about something else while praying, i wouldn't read my bible, i would let my tongue slip up and cuss... i would disobey my mom, and i even comtimplated suicide, i started to cut myself.... then one day, i turned on the radio after like forever (the christian radio that is) and they just started playing me and jesus.... i listened to it, and it didn't phase me... but for the next week every time i turned the radio on that song would turn on... and as i got to no it, i came to no it's meaning and i literally stared to cry. i stopped everything i was doing and started to pray i prayed for like 15 minutes to like a half hour asking God to forgive me and to take me back into the safety of his arms, that i strayed and went to the temtations of the world and so on and so forth... after that i read the Bible for like five more hours. ever since then i have gotten better about everything and i stopped cutting myself (i didn't tell you this, but i starved myself to... i stopped that too) im better about praying and reading my bible too... so me and Jesus would have to be my song...
