Yo, everyone-
This was written by me for Steve Irwin. The world will never forget him.

MY TRIBUTE
Everyone, everywhere knew him,
and all stared in wonder at this man,
who wrestled crocs with his bare hands,
and held his children with love and tenderness,
and this same man captured snakes,
and loved his wife openly,
he loved all creatures,
and he burned with a passion to preserve them,
he taught so many about them,
he taught the masses to love the unloved.

He died honorably,
doing what he did best,
being with God's creatures,
and teaching us how to protect them,
and how to preserve them,
and this is just a poem about a wonderful man
named Steve Irwin.

O.K. people, what do ya' think?
Love, Laugh, Live

It was really wierd how it happened... a complete freak accident. I get ticked at people who say he would go after animals and antagonize them. He taught me more about animals than my teachers every could, and he was so fun to watch! Some animal activists say that he was a jerk, disrupting animal life and someone who wasn't for the animals, but against them. They couldn't be more wrong. He helped discover invaluable info about all kinds of critters. It's not cool to rip apart anyone, especially if they're dead.

'ello. Thanks for everyone's comments. It doesn't feel like he's gone. He was a great guy, and even though it's been a while I still think about him a little. If he would've lived longer, who knows what he would've accomplished? His daughter is doing stuff now. Good for her! Too bad about his son though. He won't remember him much, if at all. There is tons of video of him, but that doesn't take the place of a real, living person. O.k., I'll get off my soapbox now! Smile
