Hey is anyone planning on seeing the new Star Wars movie when it comes out? I'm not like a SW fanatic but I HAVE to see it to finish out the series cause I'm really curious. How about anyone else? Oh yeah and who thinks Hayden Christensen is hot??
It's not all of second, and if he doesn't go evil, then the entire set of movies is pointless. And it doesn't matter one whit if he's cute, the problem is that he has thus far completely failed to play the role adequately and is therefore a direct contributer to the sorry state of the recent Star Wars movies.

But, yes, I am going to see it. And I'm holding out hope that it will be decent, no, more than decent. I'd like it to be GOOD. Truly good. I'm not expecting it to hit the caliber of the original films, but it oughta at least surpass the last two with considerable margin.
Yeah, even though I think he's cute, I think that Anakin's whole character in general is kind of cheesy, but it's all the actor's fault, I think it's mainly b/c of the script. The old ones ARE the best though but I like the new ones too, besided the cheesiness. Jar Jar totally ruined Ep. 1 though. ;-)
Oh, sure, the dialogue is horrid, but other characters made it passable. Ewan MacGregor was fabulous as Obi-Wan and Natalie Portman, who had some of the worst imaginable lines in Ep II as Amidala, still did at least a decent job. It's not all the actor's fault, but it still certainly could have been pulled off better.

I have a friend who is convinced that the best thing they could do in Ep III is to have Anakin decapitate Jar-Jar as a sort of apology from George Lucas.
