I heard that Jaci & her husband has gotten a divorce or is in the process of it. Has anyone else heard this?

Just saw the article posted 8/22 on/at christianity today. Yes they did get divorced. She was on TBN last night and I didn't thinkl I saw her wedding ring. That's too bad.

TO ALL OF MY FANS:

For many of you the revelation that my marriage has ended may come as a surprise. Though I have been going through this sad period in my life for some time now, it has been with the guidance of family, intense counseling, and the gracious mercy of God that I find myself rising to the surface.

I wish to bring awareness to the healing and grace that can come through believing that God can work through any circumstance and as believers we can prove to the world that when one of us is in need it is the church that becomes the hand that is there to lift us up.

In many ways it is through this situation that I have grown considerably and now view the world with more compassionate eyes. Knowledge comes through learning but it is wisdom that comes through experience. In this experience I find myself beginning a new chapter in my life. A song called ?ay It Down?came into my life as I was working on my last record and although the writers never knew what I was going through this song was like an answer to prayer. ?ay It Down?is a message of hope and surrender when all of your dreams are slipping through your hands. Messages like this are the reason I sing.

Although there is plenty of healing to be done, I feel like you are all part of my extended family and that? why I am sharing this with you, I know I can count on your prayers, respect and support on this difficult times.

No she didn't have kids. They were married a little less than 2 years. She was on TBN the other night and she never mentioned her husband and I didn't see her wedding ring, and she said she had moved to London. Then the next day I saw that story on Christianity today, and yesterday saw her website message. I see the bloggers are already out with opinions about what she has said. Everyone gets upset as why CHristians in the public eye can't keep their marriages together. Sometimes radio and christians bookstores don't treat them so well; like they don't play their songs, a nd remove their cd's from the shelves. Amy Grant bounced back after her divorce. You're right. Just pray for her.
