my name is Bianca Schneader. I want to be a Christian singer but i don't know what to do or who to talk to. The winter of 2003, you were at Winter Extreme in Brason, Missouri, and I was there. I got your autograph and my picture taken with you. My friend, Hannah, asked you if i could sing for you. I did and that is when i decided that i wanted to be a singer! I don't know when you will check this, or how you will reply, but i just need some advice on how to get my career started as a singer.

I'm not Jaci but I do have some advice to share...continue to try out for solos, duets, group performances for church and school, when Christian talent searches come about try out for them http://www.GiftedTalentSearch.com http://www.ExaltingHim2006.com If you write songs and can play instruments put together an album...not too hard with all of today's technology and the internet...make sure to copyright your original music http://www.LOC.gov (assuming that you live in the US) original songs or not come up with some songs that you can sing really well (you might want to cover other artists songs...get performance tracks, etc.) and offer to put on free shows (coffee houses, youth group, in your backyard, at school, for fundraisers/benefit shows, singing at weddings, etc.) The key is to get a reputation of excellence and then things will start to happen! You may want to invest in voice lessons with a local instructor (they can mentor you and also may be able to give you connections of possible shows, etc.) Don't be fixated on getting a contract right off, focus on perfecting your skill and getting your name out there.
