Like you, I have always loved the music of Amy but she has mellowed to the point, there's nothing exciting to me anymore on her last CDs. I remind you that this is a personal opinion ofcourse, but Amy's music has always been a big part of my life and from a fans perception, we just arent on the same page anymore.
I miss the days were mentioning God on her CDs wasn't a taboo thing....The albums "Legacy & Rock of Ages" were traditional and great comfort but the contemporary Amy music was at its stride with LEAD ME ON, UNGUARDED were she took us for a ride that said "have fun in life but dont lose your focus on Christ"
Songs from HEARTIN MOTION like "Ask Me" & "Hope Set High" were direct in their message.
Keith Thomas seems to know Amy's voice and the best way to produce her ( my opinion ) but I miss Brown Bannister & Michael Omartian.....

I'm rambling.....what I want is another album that has a large variety....that keeps me in check with God.....and makes me feel young again.

She aint too old to put out the music the fans want....Amy fans are varied in age...shes got teens who love her as well as us old ones

If you record it...they will come!!!!!!

Do you really depend on Christian music to keep you in check with God? The bible should be doing that for you.
