Hello all my dear friends. I need your prayers tonight. My husband told me today that he is leaving me. There were a variety of reasons, and I don't want to go into them now, but I need your prayers tonight as I try to process this. He is moving out tomorrow. I have cried until there are no more tears left. Now I am turning to Jesus and my HuffNation family. I can't tell my family yet, my parents are elderly and I need to calm down before I get into this with them. I am heartbroken but know that with God's help, I'll get through this.

Thanks

My heart goes out to you tonight. I can only imagine how you may be feeling. May God comfort you tonight and in the near future. remember God comforts the downcast(2Corinthians 7:6) Here are some scriptures I thought might help you....

Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted...

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

(((hugs))) for Donna.
I've been there Donna and it is hard.
Time heals all wounds though and You will come through this with God's healing touch upon your heart, soul and mind.

It's hard to lose someone you love and sometimes it just doesn't make any sense. God knows You though Donna...He knows the secrets and the scars and He's wrapping His arms around you right now. Feel His presence and listen to His voice. You are a bright, beautiful, warm, kind, strong woman and I have complete confidence that God will carry you through your pain. Trust Him, seek Him, and let Him carry your load.

I read this devotional the other day and it just fit for me. May God comfort you with these words as well. Donna hang on to love...that everlasting unconditional love that knows no boundries..it's yours always. I'm praying for you and sending my love your way. Here is that passage I read. The book is entitled "Come Away My Beloved" by Frances J. Roberts.

I Seek To Lift Your Load

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10

Seek Me early; seek Me late; seek Me in the midst of the day. You need Me in
the early hours for direction and guidance and for My blessing upon your heart.
You need Me at the end of the day to commit into My hands the day's happenings
both to free yourself of the burdens and to give them over into My hands so I may
continue to work things out. And you need Me more than ever in the busy hours,
in the activities and responsibilites, so that I may give you My grace and My
tranquility and My wisdom.

I do not ask you to take time for Me with the intention of placing a burden on you by
requiring you to do so. Rather than adding a requirement, I seek to lift your load.
Rather than burdening you with a devotional obligation, I desire to take the tensions
of life from you.

Here is one more passage in the devotional that moved me.

Your Life Is As A Weaving

Let the peace of God rule in your hearts. Colossians 3:15

My child, your life is as a weaving. Beauty will not come to you by joy alone.
Life may be tortuous at times and pathways rough. From fabrics of lovely silk
and from cords of rougher materials, I fashion what pleases Me. You may never
know why certain experiences come. It is enough that My hand brings them all.

My grace is not limited by sorrow and difficulty. Indeed, it shines like a strand
of gold mixed in with the black of grief. My hand moves with infinate love, and I
am creating a pattern of intricate beauty. Never be dismayed. The end will bring
rejoicing for both yourself and Me. For you are my workmanship, created in Christ,
even in His mind before the worlds existed.

Doubt not, for My will shall be done.

He took away the stain of sin
And made me clean and pure within;
He took away the strain of care
And now I find peace everywhere.

Donna I'm praying for His peace to overwhelm your heart.
Just remember that He's here to lift your load and He longs to touch you with His grace. Seek Him and know His presence.

Abba Father,
We join our hearts and minds today to lift in prayer our dear sister Donna. Lord You know the pain and sorrow in her heart, You know the the situation in her marriage and You know her husbands heart as well. Lord we would ask that You just touch them both in this very moment and allow them to feel Your presence. Father when we suffer loss through death, divorce, abandonment it stings and causes us to reflect back and wonder was there something I could have done different or said that would change what is happening now? Lord we don't always have the answers but someday You will enlighten us when we stand in Your presence and see You face to face. Until that moment arrives Lord give us courage and strength to find our way through our troubled times. Remind us to see Your light in our lives and all the love that surrounds us. Begin a healing today Lord within Donna's heart, mind and soul and allow her to remain secure in the knowledge that You are there with her and that You are holding her in the palm of Your hand. Surround her Lord with comfort and give her the words she needs to share this with her family and friends. Father what a lovely beautiful child of Yours she is. Let her not lose sight of the light within herself and the gifts You've given her. Be her strength Lord, be her Healer and Comforter. We place all these requests upon Your throne knowing that when two or more gather in Your name Lord You are here with us...You know our hearts..and You hear our prayers. Thank You Father for never wavering, for weaving within us through our ups and downs Your masterpiece and Your vision. In Your name we pray. Amen.

Much love to you Donna,

~Meesh~

Thank you all. I have been praying for acceptance, and tonight, feel at peace. I know that things will work out the way they are supposed to. I don't know what the outcome will be, but I know that things will work out the way they are supposed to. He's a good man, but has some problems that he needs to deal with. I miss him, but lately, he has been depressed. I really didn't see it for what it was, but I certainly do now. Anyway, you are all such wonderful people and I do appreciate the power of your prayers. God is good and it's a blessing to have that knowledge.

Hello Donna,
This is the first time I've visited a Huff site in so long while I doubt anyone remembers me. I just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your situation and will pray for you and your husband. I'll be checking this board from now on. Hold fast to God's faithfulness, friend.
