I just watched the show. George was awesome as usual. I get so excited watching him perform. You can't help but get excited. He still gets so excited performing just as much as he did when he started out. I can see why so many people LOVE this man. I'm really ready for church this morning.

I unfortunatly did NOT get to see this show. I spent the entire night and morning in the ER with my son, he is ok now. I was looking forward to this for so long

Oh, Trish, let me tell you he did AWESOME singing Brighter Day. He also spoke to Naomi Judd for a bit. He was sooooo excited to see her. He hugged her and she asked him about his hometown...New Orleans and being homeless for a bit before AI.

Thank you Carolyn - You know I WAS at that show and it took like 6 hours to tape it! When George came out HE STOLE MY SEAT (lol he didn't steal it, they made me move for George) I sat behind him and did nothing but kiss him...my sister thought I was nuts, but George didn't care.

OMG, I have such a special angel friend that sent me the tape of this show.....It was so good to see it again. When I was at that taping I think they made George sing 3 times and I was out of my mind with excitment that I don't think I even knew what was going on! It was great to watch this with a clear head. HECK I EVEN GOT A LITTLE CAMEO APPERANCE MYSELF!!!

Shannon, yes I kissed his head a million times from all of you of course. But the funny thing was that for the entire show, I sat in that seat. I was so happy they picked me for the front. Then when George was getting ready to come on stage somebody came over and asked me to MOVE GRRR.....I was LIKE OMG NOOOOOOO!! But then they put George in my seat so I didn't mind. Then George got up and I got my seat back

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT GEORGE THAT YOU JUST WANT TO KEEP KISSING AND HUGGING HIM.

I miss hearing about George. Once the AI season was over, we don't get to see George anymore in this part of the world and no news either.

Could you please update me on what George is doing now?
1) Where is he living now?
2) I know he has signed on with Word but how does this impact his life? Is he singing fulltime professionally?
3) Will he be completing his music degree?
4) Does he have a fulltime job now so he has an income? I am not familiar with the music industry so I don't know how Word pays him.

And anything else you'd like to tell me about him. I haven't been able to find any news about him apart from his tour dates which are irrelevant to me since I live in Australia.

To answer all of your questions.

George lives in Texas but still spends time in Oklahoma.

George is still with Word Records and its his full time job. I am not sure he will be finishing school, becaue God has him on a mission to SING now and thats what he is doing.
