what is UP WITH THAT? I think it shucks.... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrr he definetly said September....how did it go from May, to July, to SEPTEMBER?

OMG! I was watching George tonight on Idol Chat and when he said his album would be out in September, my jaw dropped! It's okay though. I will still be patiently awaiting its release.

This bites. I miss George on Idol chat cause of work and now I find out about this. What the heck is going on here? Why are they pushing back the date to two months from the original month,(July)? I sware they better be talking about putting out a single in the time frame between July and September or I am going to be one very ticked off Huff fan. I can understand trying to make it perfect, but they still have all of June so why couldn't they make it work for a late july release????????? WORD records please give us some answers. We adore and love George so much and will support him always; we need to know what is going on. We feel we are being kept in the dark and it is not so fun at all

George also mentioned the CD being released in September at the mall tour last Saturday in Mission Viejo. He also mentioned the possibiliy of doing a duet on it with Jennifer Hudson, but wasn't certain yet because of all that had to occur for that to happen.

I came in last night looking for info on when George's cd would be released because I had replied to someone about it over on the Fox AI board. I ran across this thread.

Reading this thread was so much like what happened at John Stevens' board it was eerie!! His release date had been changed at least 3 times and was set for April 26 when suddenly it changed to June 28. How did we on his board find this out? He said it in an interview. Many people were angered on his board that it had changed AND that no one had put it up on the board prior to the "world" finding out about it.

As a survivor of multiple delays, I can tell you that sometimes it is necessary in order to get a better product and to get better promotion set up.

I do think that someone from WORD should be coming on to this board and keeping people informed of things. It makes it even harder to remain faithful that things will actually happen when there is no communication.

I also looked at a thread here re promotion. If you can get somebody from WORD to listen, the wristbands that Maverick had done up for John have been very successful. You can just keep some on you or in a pocket, etc. and hand them out as opportunities present themselves. His are red (naturally LOL)and simply has his website address and JOHN STEVENS RED written on them.

I hope they get something going for George soon. I'll be happy to distribute wristbands for George, too. I love George and his singing. When I get info on appearances by George I cross-post them over to John's board because there's a lot of love over there for him

He told me at his concert here, that it wasn't happening in July. But he didn't say nothing bout having to wait til Sept. Boo-hoo. But I'll tell ya'll it's gonna be well worth the wait.

I agree that it will well be worth the wait. I would rather it come out later than to rush things.

What scares me the most of all is the promotion factor. George will put out a good product…there’s no question about that. Heck, he would sound good singing in the shower with a tape recorder. This CD HAS TO BE PROMOTED RIGHT!! HAS TO!!!

Has anyone checked out the other Idols web pages? There is fun things to do, music to listen to, videos to watch, updated photos….WE GOT NOTHING!! We can all hang out here and look at the CHRISTMAS photos. And..AND, If we are REALLY lucky we’ll get updated news.

I’m sorry guys. The people here that really know me, will understand that it takes A LOT for me to get upset. I have been supporting George since the beginning, and it just upsets me to no end that I feel like he is getting short changed here.

I could not be more disappointed for George. We, his closest friends and biggest fans are not the only ones being let down.

Not one day goes by that I do not in some way promote George. Word, where are you?

Word, where are you with the site updates George needs? Photos, concert informtion and photos, a new song on this site. Come on...

Open your hearts and pockets Word. You've got the best in George.
