Hey everyone! I just got word that the Huffs and Miss Lilly and her family are evacuating tonight. And they thank us for our prayers.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

THANK YOU Marge for passing along this information.....my heart goes out to them, I hate that something like this has to happen and they have to evacuate their homes. I am just thankful that they have a way to get to safety and I pray that everyone in their general area can find safety too!!!


Dear Lord, please watch over our friends and help to calm all their natural fears and know that they can give anything to you God because sometimes we face things in life that are too big for us, but nothing and i mean NOTHING is too big for you Lord. Your love for us oh Lord is amazing and unconditional and we thank you for that. Please be with them as they travel tonight to their safety and just help calm their fears and worries and let them know its all in your mighty hands!

Hey I just talked to Monica/Tokewia and they wanted me to tell everyone that they are fine and they were just online getting directions to Dallas because they are getting ready to leave! They said that they love all of us very much and they are going to try to get back online before they leave.


So just keep praying for a safe travel and to ease their fears......I cant imagine the fear that goes along with something like this.

Very happy to see they are leaving. Now what about the 2-4 million other people there???

The mayor of New Orleans called for a voluntary evacuation. There are shelters set up further inland for people who have no place to go or have no money for a hotel. Everyone who lives along the Gulf Coast knows the drill, it is a way of life for us. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected

Thanks for the information Scott....I feel a little more relaxed knowing those who cannot evacuate still have other options and that everyone is joining together.....everyone in New Orleans is in my prayers!

We're in line too, and winds could be up to an astonishing 200 mph when it hits HuffNation...

Allllllrighty then. Back to "real life" this is a major cat. 5 hurricane heading straight toward New Orleans.

yyWell, let just keep this prayer chain going strong. It appears that Katrina is worse than anyone expected.

I spoke to the Huff family just now and they are almost to thier final destination in Texas! I just wish we could get a hold of Miss Lilly to make sure she is safe and sound!

I pray for all of the people in New Orleans. I just couldn't imagine how scary this must be for them!!!
