George just had about 15 minutes on the TV Guide Channel's pre-show coverage. He is sooooo excited and loves Taylor Hicks. He sang a little bit of Miracles to promote the video, and said he would love to sing with Taylor. He looks great and the crowd loved him. He's put on a little weight in the face. He was a great guest and it was clear people still love our George!

I had the TV Guide channel on both nights before the show. George got a lot of camera time and the crowd really loves him. He's so photogenic, and such a character. He really hasn't changed a bit (I am so glad for that). Last night, he was talking about how he was living out his dream, and his excitement and joy just bubbled through the camera. He should be hosting one of these pre-shows. He would make a great host and like Caldwell, has the inside scoop.
