Im really sorry guys I keep posting but I just really want to know if anyone even cares about this scrapbook? It seems everytime I write about it my post gets ignored. I understand a scrapbook has already been done... but mines so much different, I have given a post about everything in it and I cant explain it much more then that. Its just I feel neglected on this site and my posting means nothing. So please let me know what you dont like or dont understand about my book. I have pics of my pages and how its improving and comming along if you would like to see them Im open to sharing them with you guys! Im so sorry if this seems like a rude post but I want this to involve everyone, and I would like everyones opinions and help. I will explain more about what I need from you guys (like the fan pages and such) if you guys want me too. All Im asking for is if you guys could please let me know if you even care or if you need me to explain anything further... Sorry agian

Stephanie, I think its a wonderful idea what you are doing. You originally wanted this as a surprise...George reads this board...maybe people are just trying not to reply so it doesnt get bounced back up.

Thanks Trish and Ann for replying! I feel bad for doing all this... but I just wanted to know what was going on. I understand now that you guys were trying to keep it quite because he was reading the boards makes sense now! also thanks for letting me know that you guys are interested and are willing to help and I agree Ann he does need a nice big scrapbook filled with memories from being on AI till now, which Im trying to organize and put as much of it into here! in the Scrapbook update thread I explained what I need from you guys... I have so many different pictures. I met George several times now. How about I give you the links to my photo bucket albums and you pick out what you like. I'd love to contribute.

Tara, Trish, Marge and many of us took part in The Gift of Joy project for George while he was on the AI3 tour. Fans of his sent a gift to one of us and sponsored a gift of joy for one stop on his tour. He got lots of fun gifts and we met him along the road to bring him their Joy.

Here is the link to my pictures from the very first time I met George. It was on the AI3 tour and it was during their stop in Saint Paul Minnesota. George was so excited to see me we had talked a few times on the phone and so it was just cool to meet face to face. He was so cute he came in with such a smile and he grabbed his video camera and taped our meeting so he could share it with his sister Monica. He yelled Monica this is Meesh!!! My daughter just loved him. You can just see the joy on her face in this first picture in this album. George is holding a blue bible that is filled with the favorite scripture verses of many of his fans and messages from them of encouragement and support.

The next stop to bring George his many gifts of joy was in Omaha Nebraska on the AI3 tour. He was so sweet to us brought us back stage and found a quiet place that we could talk and share prayer. He and my friend Gus sang the song The Old Rugged Cross together. Ann has the video of that it was really fun! I love this picture of Jen and George I took on that trip.

I met George and brought more gifts of joy again on the AI3 tour in Green Bay Wisconsin. He was so fun that night. So many little kids in the meet n greet area and he was so accomodating to each one of them. How can you not smile when George walks into a room? There are lots of concert pictures in these albums as well. It was fun traveling to see George and bring him his Gifts of JOy from his fans. Here is my Green Bay album and a picture of my friend Devere and his mom who joined me that trip.

When I saw George in Green Bay I left kind of sad because I knew that was my last chance to see him on the tour and wondered if I would get the chance to see and visit in person with him again. Luckily though I got that chance again in Charleston West Virginia this past summer. George was singing on a mall appearance and afterwards He and a whole group of us went to The Olive Garden for dinner. What an amazing night that was and George . . whoa! can that man eat! HA HA HA

Here is my album from our Charleston West Virginia get together. There are lots of pictures of George with kids. I just love to see how he interacts with children. Their faces light up and you can see they are just so proud to be standing there with George! He's got a gift with kids. .well he's got lots of gifts huh? LOL Gotta love that man.

There is also this cool shot of George, Gus and Jay that just cracks me up! Look at these cool cats! Well Jay has the cool down and George is very fly but Gus. .um he needs to work on his cool factor I think! ha ha ha




George rode with Gus and I from the Mall to the restaurant and it was fun to just chill in the car and shoot the breeze. He's really fun to just hang out with. I have been blessed that is for sure. We all gathered for prayer in the parking lot while waiting to be seated and after dinner we gathered again in a circle and shared a prayer. Tears filled our eyes again because so many of us had come a long ways to be there and who knows when we will all be able to gather again like that. It was such a blessing.

That however was not the last opportunity that I had to see George. He came through Chicago Illinois a few months back and it was on a weekend. So I packed my family in the car and once again we were on a Off to Meet George roadtrip! Those are the best!!

George sang at the Ford City Mall In Chicago and my little daughter Natalie got to go up on stage and Bounce with him. We made the trip in one day. Got up at the crack of dawn and drove to Chicago to the mall and watched George sing twice and attended both of the meet n greet signings he did there. It was a fun day and then we turned right around and drove home getting home in the wee hours of the morning. It was a LONG day but well worth it. I'd travel anywhere to see George if I am able to. He's just the sweetest man.

I have enjoyed traveling to Omaha-Nebraska, Green Bay- Wisconsin, Charleston-West Virginia, and Chicago-Illinois to see George. It was nice when he came through Minnesota on the AI3 idols tour. .I sure hope that He comes back to Minnesota soon. I had tickets to see him on the cruise this month but we had to return them. That was one of the hardest things to do cause I was sooooooo looking forward to it.

I'm sorry that I did not respond sooner Steph and I hope you enjoy the pictures. I love George he has been so kind to me and I count him among my many blessings. I am sure he will absolutly LOVE your scrapbook. Thanks for including me. Here are my personal pics with George.
