Well its Sunday, the Lords day, and I just got back from church. One of the messages was how we're all a part of the family of God. I just think that is so special and I hope each of you here have decided to be born into the family of God too


I know there are some prayer requests threads floating around this message board somewhere but we can never have too many topics talking about prayer, can we?


If any of you have any needs (we all do) that you want to voice, any praise reports, answered prayers, miracles, spiritual goals, or just any statements of faith please post it here.

I guess I would like to start...

A couple of things that I just wanted to share with each of you.

#1- Thanks for all the prayers and concerns about my bladder infection....it is all cleared up and Im feeling back to normal. It was really painful. Well maybe only a couple of you knew that even though the doctors confirmed that I did have a bladder infection I was really scared that maybe I had a problem with my other ovary. I didnt tell all of you about it just because I guess I didnt want to get people worried about stuff unless I knew. But anyways to be sure that my ovary was okay and everything I went ahead and had an ultrasound done. I got the results back yesterday and they did not find anything of any significance and that everything looked really good. Im soooooo happy and relieved that the pain was only from the bladder infection and not anything having to do with my ovary. I surely do not want to go through anything horrible like I did a year and a half ago! *whew*


#2 I know that Jay and I have shared our stories about seeing George from a couple weekends ago but I guess I wanted to give more of a personal impact on that experience. Maybe it was because we were at church but I have never seen George with more light around him then I did that weekend. Its just so apparent that he's on fire for God and thats the only reason he's out there. His intentions, goals, and desires are just so purely for God and becoming even closer to him. He talked a lot about God telling him that he wanted to bring George to higher levels and that everytime he reached one level God kept calling him for more. I just think thats amazing how he has obviously stepped out in faith so much in his life and I know that is easier said then done. I am just so proud of what he stands for and I am amazed at how God has taken control of his life. He just really inspired me and touched my heart that weekend. All I can hope for is that I too could shine Gods light out in some way to the world as well.

I agree with you about George (although I haven't seen him LIVE) I can see the difference in pictures and hear it in his voice.

THE ONE THING I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT HIS IS THAT HE DOESN'T NEED TO LOSE ANY MORE WEIGHT!

I BELEIVE HE WILL EVENTUALLY BE ST . GEORGE HUFF .
JUST LIKE YOU I CAN'T SHAKE THAT FEELING .

And MISS LILLY Im glad we feel the same way about George!!!! I as well hope everyone feels/sees that from him too!!! . Ive always said, "if you have a chance to meet George, DO IT, because you will never be the same."

I don't know what to say! Just thank the almighty God that we got this far and George is here to sing to us!

well i think if george was able to be with us here on this thread he would say:

"this is a day that the lord has made and i will rejoice and be glad in it"


isnt that the truth but ya know its hard to rejoice and be glad in somedays....those valleys can be so deep. however for anything to grow (people) there has to be water (tears). you take the good and the bad in life...you can almost be guranteed bad days in life, but its the choices you make and how you come out of it that makes you who you are. there are some good people here and i think its special to have christian friends who help us through the good and the bad!

Tara what a beautiful post. I think you all know that after I saw George in MN that I was just touched by the hand of God to share and write and speak the Joy of The Lord that George had made me feel again. There is this presence of PEACE when I listen to George and he most certainly has this amazing annointing upon his life that touches mine and inspires me to draw nearer to God and grow in my own faith journey and walk with Christ.

I've listened to the audio Tara of George at that church in Kentucky at least six or seven times..often late at night when I am needing to just zone in on God and wanting to hear his voice. George has this ability to lift up within me a desire and longing to listen and to find God's message. I think each time I listen to that audio God gives me a new message. George truly should find more ways to share on that level..it was a blessing and a calling upon my own spirit. For this and many things I just lift up my hands right now and offer up praise for each of you who touch me in ways I doubt you'll ever know.. it may be a span of time before I come back here but whenever I do.. and I read your words...God fills me with such peace, joy and love. We are so blessed!!

I've been making a few video montages with some of my favorite songs that give me peace. I'm still working on one with George's music but here are three that I've made so far. May God touch your lives with peace and fill you with such abundant grace and light..may George continue to walk his faith journey with courage, hope, perseverance, joy, and grace. He's always in my prayers. God has begun a great work in his life..what a blessing that we get to join him on that journey. I am thankful every day for George and each of you..even when I'm not here you often come to my mind. Enjoy the montages.
