Is anyone planning on going to Albany (NY) for George's appearance on January 15? I am considering driving over, weather permitting.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT MAKING THE TRIP BUT I DON'T TRUST THE WEATHER SO I'LL HAVE TO WAIT TILL JUNE TO SEE MY/OUR GEORGE.

How far is Albany from me and Can a Sista get a ride.

I would love more than anything to go to Albany. I just don't think I can do such a far trip....I think its like 7 hours.

I wish I could catch a little plane over there.....I REALLY want to see this!

I wish I could go but it is far for me too. Well, not 7 hrs, but like 4 hours. We are supposed to get snow Monday too. I have been eying this event for a while though. I WISH, WISH, WISH I could go!

Doesn't look good for me for Monday. I am so disappointed. I've been working on a project and have a big status meeting Monday morning first thing. Since I'm the PM, I really can't skip it and couldn't reschedule since people are coming in from out of town to attend. Sorry George... you're just gonna have to find a way to get to Syracuse!!!

Does anyone know if he even got to Albany. There was a bad ice storm Sunday night/Monday morning and Albany was hit hard. There are still people without power there. I don't think they even had the ceremony.
