Good Morning Everyone! This is my thought for the day today....

The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common. If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.

I think today being Sunday, is a great day to sit back and marvel at all of the beautiful things around us. Our lives are just too fast paced and filled with so many "un needed" materialistic things, that we forgot to enjoy the beauty of things around us. Go look at a cloud, a baby, a beautiful bird and enjoy all the miracles around us!

Its just plain and simple enjoy every moment of every day. Its the simple things in life that truly mean the most. I have been agonizing being home with my children this summer because they are always wanting to do something that costs a fortune. Do you know we have more fun doing dumb silly things. I wish they realize that lol but one day they will!

Trish, I can relate to you when it comes to doing stuff with the kids...it seems like another 50 bucks everytime we walk out the door! Today we had fun though...like I said it's been really hot here and hardly anyone up here has A/C. (it's the mountains, right? lol) We filled up the ice chests with water and played with hoses and squirt guns all afternoon with our feet in the ice chests! The kids loved it..go figure...just so you know, it's 9 om and it's still 88* inside my house! Not that I'm complainin' or anything...

Shelley.....I bet the grandchildren had tons of fun with the hoses and water guns!!! Its super hot here today!!!!
