Hello Everyone!

As some of you heard George mention OKLAHOMA CARES on CNN. I was intrigued to get more information. George mentioned that this Organization was founded by he and a few of his friends!

If anyone of you have not donated to an organization, please consider this one. I spoke with Oklahoma Cares and we talked about what they need. Gift Cards are the best gift right now. WalMart is the most useful one as they can buy food, clothes and medicine there.

Looking long term, HOME DEPOT will be helpful for when the people do have persmission to go back to thier home for generators, cleaning supplies, etc.

Those new Debit cards they have would also be pretty useful - I just don't know where you find them!

I didn't realize how many people evacuated to Oklahoma but they sure did!!!

I think the debit cards you're asking about are the gift cards that are credit cards. Here is where you can find more information on how to get one of those!

So there ya go...there are most of the major credit card companies and how you can get a gift card from ANY of those places, so check out the links if you're wanting to possibly donate something like this to Oklahoma Cares or any other foundation for the matter.

I've already sent out lots of money to our national Red Cross Katrina fund...and I've been working with local schools as well on this...just like after 9/11 (I was a high school senior then) when my own school alone raised over $1,500 through donation boxes and special events...
