Hello everyone!

I have been a Huff fan since the first time he appeared on Idol. I cheered for him and hoped he would win, but alas, he didn't. He is still my favorite performer out of all the seasons of Idol. Actually he is my favorite singer! I told everyone about him, whether they watched Idol or not. I was so excited to hear his voice! I just love it. He is so happy and bouncy and full of life. So my question to all of you fans is why isn't he more popular?

I think we should all get together and help him somehow. There is no reason that he shouldn't be one of the greatest singers of all time. I am truly dissapointed that he is not up there with Kelly Clarkson at the moment.

So what can we do to help?

Anyone with any suggestions should reply so all the members can pitch in and do their bit to help George out!

Here are my suggestions:
1. Tell all your friends about him and make them listen to something they will like, possibly not gospel. The American Idol CD has a few good songs with him.
2. If George wants to be a gospel singer, I'm sure he will be and is very successful. If he wants to get his foot into the top 40 where there are millions of people listening, he needs to do some R&B, pop rock, smooth jazz or (this is the best idea) remix versions of 50's and 60's oldies. Another avenue is African music. There is a CD called Smooth Africa II. This CD has artists from Africa singing in slightly different styles. Try it out!
3. Buy Huff CD's!

If anyone can communicate directly with George, please please please tell him to look at #2. He is so talented and I know he can reach out and touch so many people that have not yet experienced his energy. He is a great influence on our younger generation and we need people like him to be in the spotlight.

Lets help each other to help George!
Razz

I think George is at and doing what God would have him doing and be.

I think George is more concerned with souls being set free even if it's only one, than 10, 000 who only want to hear some feel good music.

As long as e keeps his hand in the Master's hand then he will be ealted to the high places in God's timing. He sings the style of music that is pleasing to God.

These are my opinions only, but I do not care to debate them.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

George Huff has a golden voice that should not be silenced.I belive that his talent has been overlooked for what ever reason. That is the question of the day-? Why did this happen? Some recording company is missing out on a mega buck singer. But people like myself have no power to reach these recording studios. I agree all we can do is spread the word of our main man Mr. George Huff.Sometimes I do not understand the ways of the world. I wish that this e-mail would reach George Huff personally instead of ending up in the trash. I can only pray that this situation will change.

THREE YEARS AGO THEY ASKED GEORGE "WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF AN AMERICAN IDOL? HE REPLIED. "SOMEONE WHO HAS THE HEART AND LOVE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD THROUGH MUSIC." THINK ABOUT WHAT HE HAS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED.

IF and I say IF very loudly, you were really a Big Fan of George's you would not even think of asking George to do something that is not in Gods plan for George.

Were you here with us and George on top of the Gospel and Christan Charts?

George's songs are nominated for Awards...

Did you watch BET or Gospel Music Channel? What about Bobbie Jones or the Graham Crusades?

Have you ever been to church with George? Have you felt his spirit the minute he walks into a room. Can you see it in his smile, his walk and his humble peaceful calm?

I hope you own his CD. If not then let me know and I will be glad to see you get a copy. Then and only then can you even think George would ever sing anything else.

MISS ANN

Hello again,

Thank you for your replies.

I meant no disrespect of George being a Gospel singer. I truly respect him for this.

I guess what I was trying to get across to everyone is that he should be heard by more than a small percentage of the population. Gospel music is simply not heard by many people. In my opinion, he is a great soul and has a great message that should be heard from more people. Just the sound of his voice is enough to take stress away and put you in a good mood, if you know what I mean. His voice is so soothing!

Children and some adults these days are listening to angry and disrespectful people. I was at work and a coworker put on some "Devil" music. The band was yelling and screaming profanities. It gave me a headache immediately. This and a lot of other groups like them are in the popular domain and are at the top of the charts.

It is a shame that George isn't at least topping the charts like the "bad" people are. I really hope George's producer or another producer gives him a better chance to introduce him to the majority of the public.

To answer Ann's question, yes I have the Christmas CD, the Miracles CD and the American Idol CD. If there are any other Huff CD's, please let me in on them.

Peace and prosperity to everyone!! Big Grin

As far as I am concerned Big Fan you are giving back handed insults to us and George by your statements.

Your opinion is not needed in that light. Love George for who he is and what he sings. He has God on his side!

Sweet Ann,

I meant no disrespect for George in any way. If I have offended you or any other fan or family member, I am truly sorry. I would love to see him succeed and do the things God meant him to do.

There are a lot of people out here that are not as close to him as you appear to be. If you are able to attend church with him and be near him, you are truly blessed and you should never forget how lucky you are.

The only way most people can experience him is through his CD's. I live in Colorado and there are no scheduled performances anywhere near here. I would buy a ticket today if I could to go and see him.

Maybe I am a little selfish for him to perform the type of music I listen to vs. Gospel. I miss his voice terribly and would like to hear more from him. He is fully capable of performing Gospel as well as other types of music. I think I am not the only one out here that thinks and hopes this. George is a great soul that should be heard, no matter what the music style.

Next time you are in Church with him or are near him, please think of all the people that can not be there with you. You are very blessed.

Peace to you and all the Huff fans everywhere!
