My prayers and support are with David in his decision to go solo; his talent is phenomenal and you can tell his heart is pure by his music. Psalm 119:1-2 tells us: "Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart." I believe David seeks him with all his heart, and I believe he will be blessed.
David is going to be just fine. The Lord is taking care of him. I wasn't sure how David's departure from the GVB would affect the average fan, but now I'm thinking that it's going to be a good thing. I'm not sure we ever saw the real David in the context of a Homecoming concert or video. And, now, should this "solely solo" endeavor of his meet with success, his touring turf will expand and will give his fans more access to his solo concerts. It's my prayer that this works out famously for everyone!!!
Ok, so it's been a whole year now since he left, and I can barely imagine him being a part of a group now. Too much talent and energy to have to sing along with others like that. LOL WISE decision!
