Hello, I'm not sure if anyone can help... I really wanted to contact Nicole but I don't think that is possible so I am posting here hoping she or someone close to her could help.
My daughter just won the Northern Kentucky Idol competition last night at NKU and she sang Everyday People by Nicole. Since an accompinment cd is not available she sang it a capella and won!! One of the prizes was a live performance at Newport on the Levee (date not yet decieded) and I really wish she could do it with music. Is there a way to get the music? Nicole can you help?

I saw your post yesterday and I could've sworn there was a performance track to Everyday People but when I slipped over to the Rhapsody site (www.rhapsody.com) I couldn't find one under Nicole's things.

However, there IS a karaoke track to Everyday People available to download from Rhapsody and it sounds pretty straight-forward in terms of matching the original. Nicole didn't stray much from the early Sly and the Family Stone accompaniment version so it would really come down to what key your daughter is singing it in...

Thanks so much for the advice. We listened to the track and it is very close to Nicole's.. the music is a little less like Nicole's, but it might work. She needs it by Nov 3rd. I'm not sure what we will do yet.

I can't download music from Rhapsody.com. I can only listen to it so this will not work. Does anyone else have ideas?

Do you know about Bearshare.com? it is a website that you can download music, and the best part is it's free!
