Nicole, I just had the great privilege of seeing you at The 700 Club. I didn't get to tell you there, but let me tell you now: In all honesty, if I didn't know the song "I Am" as well as I do (and hadn't seen you at the Christian Inaugural Eve Gala), I would have had a hard time being able to tell that you were lip-syncing without you saying so. As it was, it took me a minute before the thought even crossed my mind. In spite of your having to lip-sync, you gave a fabulous performance. I'm glad you're on the mend, and I hope it won't be long at all before you're back at full steam (or as close to full steam as you can be with three kids ).

Hey Nicole. I also caught your performance and you will never guess who alerted me to the fact that you were gonna be on.

Ok, do you give? Danita called me to say, "Hey I am not gonna be on here long (meaning the phone), but do you have CBN there? I said yes and she was like well turn it on the 700 club, cause Nicole is about to be on. First off I am tripping cause my sister knows about the 700 club and then its hitting me that God is sooooooooo faithful. I know I have had a few on here praying for her and it was a great act of faith her even attending the Concert in Cape, but for her to call me tonight.

Man I had to just stop talking to my girlfriend on the phone and give Him some praise. I am just waiting on God to call her back in the fold.

I just wanted to share that with you and tell you what an impact you have already made on her and in her life that now she is looking for performances or rather noticing performances of you on tv and what not.

Are you sure that Nicole was lip-syncing on the show? I was looking and you could not tell. Either way she was amazing and I hope her tour goes well.

I can't see any of the performances on tv because I only have 4 channals all local but my friend saw it and she said it was awsome so I guess I'll take her word for it.

Yes, when Nicole talked to the audience after the show, she admitted that she'd had no voice until the day before, but she "really wanted to see" us. It was probably not the wisest move on my part to mention anything about that, since (as I said in my previous post) I myself would not have known for sure if she hadn't said something about it. And you're right (as I also said in my post) she did a great job on the show. I wasn't in any way trying to malign or undermine her. I was just trying to express sympathy and encouragement. Please don't let her having to lip-sync on The 700 Club affect your impressions of her. I can testify that when she is feeling well (as she appeared to be at the Christian Inaugural Eve Gala), the girl can sing! I can't wait for her next stop in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area.
