hey evrybody.

Here is a song i wrote. Its for The Hurricane Victoms. I wrote it during Hurriane Katrina. I'm only a kid so it may not be good, but I've been writing songs ever since i was little.

Lighting flashin
Rain a Pourin
Thunnder Crashin
People trying to escape
My tears are streamin
But I know there gona land in his hands

Cause I know I'm gona lift my hands when the thunder rolls, and I know I'm gona praise him in the rain
And in the lightin I wont be frightend
Cause i know my Gods gona send me a Rainbow

I look around
Does anybody understand me?
Nobody gets that nobody's here.
They there's a God they say he's with me but were is he?
But now I know he's holdin meright now

And I know I'm gona lift my hands when the thunder rolls
And I know I'm gona Prasie him in the rain
And I know that in Lightnen I wont be frightend
Cause I know my Gods gona send me a rainbow

Rain,Rain Go away come again another day all Gods children want to play,Rain Rain Go away!!

Cause I know I'm gona lift my hand when the thunder rolls
And I know I'm gona praise him in the rain
And I know that in the lightnen I wont be frightend
Cause I know my God's gona send me a rainnow!

My God's gona send me a rainbow

Rain Rain go away

So,how is it?

Love ya bunchez

It's a very good song of hope and inspiration. Very good for someone of your age. You have a good grip on reality and focus is definantly on point.

Some of the bigger names who have licensed music from us:

Magnatune

The Big Ideas:

All music should be shareware. Just as with software, you want to preview, evaluate, and pass along good music to others--in the process of buying it.
Find a way of getting music from the musician to their audience that's inexpensive and supports musicians. Otherwise, musical diversity will continue to greatly suffer under the current system where only mega-hits make money.
Musicians need to be in control and enjoy the process of having their music released. The systematic destruction of musician's lives is unacceptable: musicians are very close to staging a revolution (and some already have).
Creativity needs to be encouraged: today's copyright system of "all rights reserved" is too strict. We support the Creative Commons "some rights reserved" system, which allows derivative works, sampling and no-cost non-commercial use.

Our target audience:

People who listen to music in the background while they do other work (i.e. office workers [or any traditional "radio" market]).
Fans of music that gets little radio airplay or major record distribution, but has a fairly large audience.
What we provide for free:
Radio stations of our very high-quality artists, tailored to each listener's specific tastes.
We make it easy to listen to our music, and what we play is on-genre and extremely high quality.
A simple interface to save your favorite artists and songs; come back to them, build a collection.
A wide variety of music that can be freely previewed and put on a 'temp track" on a work-in-progress. If the music is then proven to work for your use, you can then pay to license it for advertising, films, business, etc.
What we sell:
Downloadable albums at a low price: $5 to $18: buyer determines the exact price.
Sub-licensed music for commercial purposes (i.e.: trade shows, advertising and web sites), priced from $150 to $5000, depending on length and type of use. This is our fastest-growing and most profitable business area.
Merchandise: posters, clothing, mugs with artist's likeness. We're not currently offering this, but we may in the future.
How the artist makes money:
50% of the sale price of each album goes directly to the artist.
50% of any commercial sub-licensing (ads, web sites, trade shows, films, etc) goes directly to the artist.
50% of merchandise profits goes directly to the artist.
Wider distribution of the artist's music means more gigs and more fans.
