Hey everyone...i just wanted to post on being thankful since today is Thanksgiving and i have one thing to be really thankful for....that would be...*drum roll pls* LIFE!!!!!!! at about 1:45 am i was driving my grandmothers car going to meet my mom with the rest of the newspapers and a guy with no license fell asleep behind the wheel and ran a red light and slammed into me....i'm so lucky that all i got was a swollen face and a sore body....and i'm so thankful that i have GOD to protect me....now i just hope he protects me when i tell grandmother....this is the second car i've been driving that has gotten TOTALED in 5 weeks...she isn't going to be happy....AJ

Well AJ I am thankful for your life as well. Omg I feel a hug session is in order here. I pray that when your grandma does find out that she will oonly think of the blessing they were given this thanksgiving day.

It sure makes you out things in proper perspective when you hear of incidents such as this.

I am also thankful that I got through this first thanksgiving without having my Mom when just a year ago we were celebrating it at her house with all the family and there. We had five generations represented and that in itself was a blessing

I am also grateful for my best friend calling to make sure I was ok on this day, she is the only one who remembered to do so. Love ya Alisa.

wow aj!! i'm soo glad your ok. i'm sure your grandma won't get to upset since your ok. your safety is more important than a car. my mom always told me cars can b replaced i can't and u can't. cece i'm sorry about your mom that must b hard but god has taken care of you. happy thanksgiving to all of you!!

Aside from all the personal stuff I'm thankful for like being married to Peter Parker and all these kids we have who fought nonstop in the backseat on the way to grandma's house yesterday...

I'm so thankful AJ aka H4J wasn't hurt beyond a few bumps and swelling because she has much to offer the world and I love chatting with her even though I'm old and having a midlife crisis and she's young and shouts Shakespeare to strangers in the mall.

I'm thankful Meg is on this board because she is like Buddy the Elf, and can lighten up any conversation with her sweet, bubbly presence.

I'm thankful for Kiersten, who is a kindred spirit, indeed...

I'm thankful for Kayla because she's very frank, likes Jimmy Neutron, venison, and will be a reference for me if I ever get on Jeopardy and says, "HAHA LOL" all the time.

I'm thankful for J.F. because she's just precious with her Funyuns.

I'm thankful for CeceNicole because she is so loving and not far from being able to receive the love which she so freely gives to others. (xoxo to you Cece.)

And I'm thankful for Nicole and her funny quotes which give us something to talk about on this board, that has, strangely, brought us all together...

And I'm thankful for too many things to count.
Ok, I hope you don't mind I'm stealing your idea Lucie:

1) H4J, I am So So happy that you are o.k...it seems you are magnetic or something while you are driving, things just have a knack of running into your car. Anyways, I agree with Lucie in that you DO have so much to offer, and I'm so thankful for your life and that I met you and that I get to talk to you online, and that you put up with all my ranting and raving.

Ok...I just realized this is gonna take a long time.

2)Meg - GIRL...what can I even say about you? Somehow you seem to be happy in the strangest situations...when I see a post on here that is not cheerful, I will know to get ready for the end of the world. Enjoyed chattin wit you! Come to think of it, you are kind of like Dori on Finding Nemo (without the whole memory loss thing.)

(My fingers are cold.)

3)Hannah - I am so thankful I met you! You have so much talent...just keep writing, writing, writing. (from Nemo)...Just remember to have some tic tacs ready after the funyon eating!

4)Lucie - In all my 18 years of living, I don't think I have ever met (well kinda) anyone like you. When I think of "Lucie Manette" I think of this vast lake (and I mean huge) of random facts and just SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much wisdom just waiting to be used to give to someone. You have no idea how much you have helped me sort through thoughts (and I actually printed out the whole "Desperate Housewives" thing and stuck them in my Bible and read them occasionally, ironically I did today). I wish I could express my thanks through words on here, but I don't think that's possible.

(Ok, fingers starting to ache now)

5)Cecenicole - Do you realize what a huge impact you have had on my life? No, probably not, but I am so so thankful for you just the same. Wayy too many things to even begin to say on here...There is one thing I am NOT thankful for though - WHY CAN'T I BE IN THE CLUB!?!? lololol...so many great memories that I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING EVER EVER EVER...even when you get mad and annoyed with me, and I get mad and annoyed with you, you KNOW that I still, you know.

6) KAYLA - I can't even begin to express how thankful I am that I met you. (You know I'm not gonna say a lotta things cus' ppl would just roll their eyes and not understand. ) But I shall see you very very soon, and I cannot wait!!! I could so go on for hours and hours, but I'm going to refrain and spare everyone their eyesight. I thank God every single day for you..thanks so much for your friendship. Love ya.

7) Nicole - Are there even words? Thanks for everything, most of all for bein the big sis I neva had

ok let me just say that all of us on this board have different personalities and i think that's what makes this board so fun and interesting!! ok i'm gonna tell ya'll what i'm thankful for. here goes:
Mostly i'm thankful for my family and friends. even though some of them aren't in the best health they were still here this holiday season!!

Kiersten: u r an awesome friend!! we've stayed up many late nights talking and venting out our issues. you've always been there. you've got such a spirit to make things happen. you know what your dreams are and you're going after them. your an amazing girl and i can't wait to meet u and i pray for u and thank god for you everyday that i'm alive.

Lucie aka: my online mom : u bring soo much knowledge and interest to this board. you have given me soo much advice. i can't thank you enough. you always come up with intersting topics. you are very smart and compassionate. maybe we'll meet one day until then i guess we'll have to stick to emails and posts lol!!

Kayluh: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA you make me laugh soo much girl!! i think if we ever "talked" all we would do is laugh. you have made me laugh on some of my most stressful days and circumstances. you have prayed me through many things along with everyone else on this board. you are so full of energy and life and don't ever lose that. hey... keep on shopping!!

Hands_4_Jesus: you have got such a compassionate heart and such a willing heart to help others in need. that is awesome!! im glad your ok and didn't get to badly hurt. you are very unique as we all are. strive for your dreams!!

cecenicole: u r soo encouraging!! i could b having a horrible day and get on here and read a post by u and feel better. u make me remember what's important in life and not to take nething for granted. u truly are a gift from god and i'm glad to have met u.

you guys are so special!! i love you guys!! i'm here for u if u ever need me. u know i've never met u guys but that's ok b/c it's the friendship that is important not the amount of time u 'hang out' or whatever. i mean that stuff is important to but. you guys know what i'm trying to say. so thank you all for all your advice, insight, jokes, and encouragement. i love you guys each and every one of you!!

ok so here is what I am thankful for:
i'm thankful for everything acually. but one thing that i am thankful for is school...even though it bores me to death i knwo that not everybody in the world have the oppertunity to go to shcool...so i'm thankful for it.

hey ya'll i actually went to the ER today and i found out i sprained my neck...and my lower back...then i told my grandmother...she didn't really care that i was ok...but she didn't beat me verbally like normal...She is very materialistic...but god protected me from the mean old lady...that and i borrowed a neck brace and started crying....i'm thankful for all of you...and Kiersten...i like listening to you rant...it doesn't bother me....cause you deal with the same stuff i do...so i feel as if i might be able to help...anywayz...i'm going to go finsih watching my friend get her hair dyed so i can get mine done...then they are going to make me look like a girl...it scares me...like they are going to do a facial and all that...so pray for me...ttyl...AJ

Hey I emailed you this but it came back.

Hey AJ, the way I post pics is I have them uploaded at a site first then I post the address in the picture portion of the message box.
I usually upload on geocities. Now if you have a site or pics stored somewhere else you can try coping and pasting that address in the message. Or you can make an album and have us download it. You can do that right from your computer.
