It's not often that I just so happen to be frivolously flipping through channels and am stopped so abruptly by the familiarity and warmth of a pleasant spirit. This was in fact the case tonight as Nicole graced the TBN set. I am somewhat familiar with Nicole's music after our college ministries dancers, danced to "My redeemer Lives" during one of our plays. But, the anointing that flowed through her tonight was so unique. Especially in the midst of so many "superstar" Christian recording artists, I find myself simply engaging in the beats more than the lyrics, let alone the spirit behind the lyrics. Yet, that wasn't just a songwriter that I saw tonight, but a living epistle. I applaud you and praise God for you, soldier. It will be ambassadors like Nicole that God will be using in high places of influence during this excetional time. What better example than some place like the Republican National Convention to not only be a light, but to represent the simplicities and standards of biblical morality; To represent the Christocracy by which our citizenship is in heaven. So, whether it's TBN or CNN, keep spreading the gospel and setting the standard of Christ. Amen!
