Nicole - I saw you several years ago when you were part of the WCIC annual fund raiser dinner... it was my first introduction to your music. It took me a while, but I had bought one of your CDs at the concert and had you sign it... and got hooked!! I just heard this past week that you were going to be back in Peoria, and to my dismay, today, I found out that your concert was last night. I am so dissappointed in missing you. Your music sets the world on fire... you can't be sad listening to it and you can't sit still when you listen to it... I am sure that there are a bunch of people who think that there is some nutty lady praising God while she's driving around Peoria - but it will be because one of your songs is on the radio!
I have an off the wall question to ask... so I hope that you aren't offended... this seems to be the only way to contact you, so I hope that you do view these entries once in a while. I am co-director this year for a fairly new camp in the Central Illinois area... it's called ComeBack Kids Camp. It is specifically for children who are in the state foster care system. It's a week long camp that is a safe place for them, a place for them to be unconditionally loved and introduced to the love and healing that only Jesus can bring. Last year we gave each girl a CD player and a CD so that they could have an introduction to Christian music. On the last night of camp, we host a Princess Birthday Party, the girls dress up in "Princess-type" dresses, they get their own cake, and are each given a bag full of gifts just for them. We are looking for a donation of 12 CDs that we would be able to put in each girls birthday bag. I know your music would be well received... it's music that they can sing to, and dance to, music that's not of the world, but in the world.
