I have Family Members in Louisiana and Mississippi some I have heard from and some I have not. My stepmom and some nieces have gone to my sister's home in Texas so I know they are ok. I have a brother and sister in Hattisburg, Mississippi and last I spoke with them this morning they were ok, but with the turn of this thing, I have not gotten an update. One of My sister's were stranded in Morgan city, La but made it to a nearby city to a hotel. I have a 16 year old niece staying with her aunt in New Orleans that I have not been able to contact.

My niece's name is Danitra, she is my siter Danita's child, so pray with em that she is safe.

*hugs* Your family are in my prayers, especially Danita and Danitra. I will keep all of the Hurricane affected parts of the USA in my prayers.

Praise the Lord and thanks to everyone who prayedfor my family. I heard from my sister today finally, My niece and nephew made it to safty out of Gretna, Louisiana. They are in Cape Giriardeau, Missouri. Tehy however left with the clothes on their backs and no possessions just their lives.

They have 7 other people with them including small children and are seeking help of any kind. FEMA is sorta giving them a hard time because they want them to prove they are from Jefferson County. They are trying to contact Red Cross now. If anyone know of a number or person in which can help would you please pass it along.

Once again thanks to all those who prayed for their safty.

Let's continue to remember the survivors from Hurricane Katrina and Thosew also affected by Hurricane Rita.
