My daughter and I met you at the "Always Sisters" conference and you were absolutely wonderful. I shared with you that I love your song black white tan because my husband and I are also a interracial couple yet I forgot to tell you about my son. He is 11 years old and has autism. This summer he went to camp with non disabled peers. To end summer camp this year they put on a performance and to end the program my son with autism led all the children and adults in your song "Everyday People". As his mother to see him up there singing your song telling people that he may be different and act different but he's everyday people was such a belssing.

To think that doctors told me that my son would never walk, talk, or even comprehend who we are as his parents and to see that God said not so and he lead a group of children singing your song was incredible. God used your music to touch a child that many said was untouchable and unreachable. Thank you for allowing God to use you in sharing your gift with us you are such a blessing. Thank you!
