Hey there Nicole...oh gosh, I just realized I totally spelled your name wrong in my registration "why did you join" thingy! Soo sorry! So, I just saw you yesterday at the Willow Creek Leadership Conference, and I was absolutely moved to tears! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your break to speak to us through your music! I've heard you so very often via radio, but to see you in person (well, almost, I was watching from Northbrook Church in Peoria, IL) was a slap in the face for me. You are for real, and I LOVE that about you! You have an absolutely amazing voice, and I LOVE the lyrics to your songs, the way you absolutely glorify God and Him alone, and the way you incorporate the kids and their different talents into your ministry! I just really wanted to say hey, and thank you so much for your love and ministry for Christ! It absolutely shows! I am also a musician, and hope to one day (if I ever finish up college) teach music. We began a praise band in our church recently in the last couple of years, and seeing amazing artists like yourself just being free and letting the light of Christ shine through you has been so inspirational! It's been a struggle for all of us in the band b/c our church was insanely legalistic and conservative, and as you can probably imagine, we had a lot of hurdles to jump, but God just keeps lifting us up, and everyday we get free-er, and free-er from the fear of judgement from some of the congregation members, and are able to just worship God and be ourselves--'dancing' and all! :-D Ok, sorry to have taken so much of your time, but, thank you so much for your music, for your time and your heart for God! Hey CeCe! Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, she's amazing, that's for sure, and I totally would LOVE to see her in concert for real now! Too bad she doesn't seem to have any shows around my area this year! Oh well..I'll just have to wait patiently for another opportunity to catch her!
