Why is Nicole supporting the RNC? It was highly disappointing to see such an anointed singer at an event overshadowed by controversy and corrupt politicians.

Because she is also an American supporting our Christian president. I applaud her for taking a stand as well as Third Day and Michael W. Smith. Isn't it absolutely awesome that only Christian singers were present for the RNC? Shows you where our President's heart is at. As a Christian, why would you not want to keep a Christian in the White House?.

Just because we are Christians, we can't afford to be passive. We have an obligation to pray and then vote for our leader.

fan305, i am sorry that you were disappointed that i sang our national anthem at the Rnc.; but if you know me at all then you will know that i am Very vocal about my beliefs and will never apologize for them. 1st of all i believe in Jesus Christ, i believe in biblical family principles one man, one woman marriage units, i believe in the unborn babies' right to live,i believe in helping the under privilege and giving them tools for success...for too long we who are able to make a difference have kept silent and by doing so we have lost many basic rights and priciples in our society. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a sunday religion.. It is a everyday relationship that has everything to do with our everyday lives. i am not trying to preach but...
As a christian, i am in this world but not of it, and like the Bible saids we are to occupy until HE comes.
speaking up for what we belive is not just our right,it's a privilege...
thanks for your comment, and though we may disagree on somethings, may we continue to live agreeably

forever your sista' in christ,
nicole

she sang b/c that's what she believes. i thought she did a good job. she is a woman who is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. she will not hide the fact that she's a Christian. and she stands up for what she believes. i think that it's wonderful that she's using her talents to reach others. in her song 'talk about it.' u'll see that she's not ashamed. through all the cd's that she's had and the one that's coming out, u'll see her express what she believes. i understand that people may disagree with what other people may think or do, but, i applaude those who stand out and aren't ashamed. great job nicole!

I sat bolt upright when I realized that it was actually Nicole Mullen replying on this message board to a post in this thread. I've never seen anyone famous who has their own site do such a cool thing. Probably because I've never really been on a message board belonging to such a prominent Christian.

Well, I saw her practicing the National Anthem and that was all I got to see and I was wondering if anyone knows if and where I can get to see her performance? I live in England and was sat up until gone 5am watching President Bush and the only thing that would have made my night absolutely perfect would have been to see Nicole singing.

p.s. I am sorry that I might sound like I'm talking about you (Nicole) rather than to you, but I'm not sure how often you come on here to read posts and I really don't know how to refer to you! I hope that you don't mind a complete stranger calling you by your first name! Smile

Waddy,
Did they actually show me practicing on tv?
oh my goodness, i'm embarrassed Roll Eyes, ok, not really.

we had been asked to come to England at the end of the year, but i am not sure if it will work out or not. If it does then we will post it on this site and then maybe you could see if you could come.

i pray that God would keep and bless you,
Because of HIM,
nicole

Yes, they really did show you practicing! However, on Fox News it was only long enough for me to recognise you and there was no volume. So, even if you were the type to be embarrassed there would have been no need because you looked like you were doing a great job!! Smile

It would be great to see you in England.

May God bless you and your family in all that you do,
In HIM,
Pete.

I am a christian women who works in politics, for a democrat. I don't always agree with the libral aspects of the democrats, but I can't say that I agree with all of the republican aspects either. I guess that's why I'm an independent voter. I'm not upset that you (Mrs. Mullen's) sung at the RNC. That's your business, beliefs, and it was an honor for you to be asked to do so. I can't personally say I agree with the president on everything that he's done, but I do however respect his christian beliefs. On another subject my daughter and I saw you at the brown bag here in Houston. You were awesome, and you totally motivated me to keep going to the gym. Razz We didn't get to say hi because the line was so long and my daughter had to get to bed, but we were truly blessed. Many blessings and much love

Redtiger,
thanks for your kind words.
It's kinda funny, but i consider myself more of an independent than a Republican or democrat. i vote principles, not politics.i am convinced that there is only one perfect party and that's "the kingdom of God" so that's the only one i'm willing to stake my life on.

Also thanks for coming to the brown bag in H town...it was a lotta fun!

waiting for His return,
much love,
nicole

Kristi37's husband, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Nicole I think it's awesome that you are not ashamed to let people know your beliefs. I've never been ashamed to do that either and I'm thankful that we have a president that prays and askes God guidence before he makes a decision. I think it's a great idea for you to sing wher anyone who is not a christian would be because your songs are so powerful they could help lead someone to Christ.

Kristi37's husband...

We are a wild bunch of assorted ideas and lots of teasing on this forum, but you can be sure every one of us will be praying for you, your wife, and the entire family.

May you feel the nearness of Lord...
