Okay girls, (and every once in awhile a guy) we're on the last day of the year if you're following the Gregorian calendar, although technically the last day of the Christian year was several weeks ago, but that can be too difficult to explain so never mind. In other words, IT'S NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!!

Anyway, what will the resolutions be? What will you give up? What will you add? How many weeks will it take to throw in the towel? (j/k! Wink)

Me? "Optimal health" is at the top of my list. Translation: DIET, DIET, DIET!!!!!

I've actually already been doing this for over a month so I'm really getting into the whole hot lemon water, flax seed oil, organic food, magneisum, unsweetened cranberry juice, milk thistle, vitamin, mineral routine. A few days ago we had bean sprouts on our salads. Dr. Andrew Weil would be so proud.

Peter Parker is like, "Who is this woman in my house and what did she do with my wife?"

By the way, have I told any of you what Peter Parker gave me for Christmas? Yes, I was a good girl this year and I got a little "bling-bling" in my stocking in the way of a one-carat diamond anniversary band. I know, for the rest of you peeps, a whole carat (that's not carrot Kiersten!) is just nothing nowadays, but to those of us in the Goodwill/Wal-Mart/below the national poverty-average-because-we-have-4-kids-one-income-and-a lot-of-student-loans land, a whole carat is a really big deal. In reality, Peter Parker had a terrifically good month at his store, sold lots of Martin guitars and a few big ticket Kawai digital grand pianos for Christmas, and decided to share a little of that with moi, the woman who has born him two daughters and two sons, believes in him no matter what, and is always ready to hold his hand when he gets up at 5 in the morning and discovers his store account only has $2 in it and has a "Where the heck is this week's payroll going to come from" conniption.

Happy New Year to the rest of you and don't be shy, post those unrealistic expectations for 2006 shamelessly!

I'm just moving this back to the top because I'm trying to woo Kiersten into posting her resolutions so I can make fun of them. (j/k Kiersten. You know I love ya girl!)

We already know K-Ks, to eat as much icing and to do as much shopping as possible! Rock on, K-k!!!

Cece's out of town and Meg is, out of town? We'll be out of town as of tomorrow so post people!

Weeeeeeell, mine is this: I wanna get buff. REAL buff, I'm not talking about Toned, I'm talking about BUFF. Big Grin Ok, well not disgustingly big,...but...big enough for people to say "wow, look at those biceps Smile" ...

soooooo, I just got a new membership at the YMCA, got the tour, signed up for some classes AND found this great new excercise thing called Body-4-Life, which is absolutely amazing. Yup, it won't be long till there is a new and improved Kiersten. Big Grin

(btw, I'm starting college this year for 4 years and going into the military as an officer...a buff officer Big Grin)

See how quickly my wooing works?

So Kiersten, no basic training? Going the ROTC route? I'm so proud of you!!!!!

*Jumps around, does a few, "Yay Kiersten"s in the kitchen.*

I forgot one of mine.

My serious spiritual resolution is to STOP asking the Lord, "Where are we going, what are we doing?" and just go there with Him and do whatever it is that we're doing. That's my spiritual resolution. *wishing myself luck.*

Lucie you read my mind on a post such as this, but I am glad to have found yours first.

Me myself, I want to do more in the areas God has me in. I really want to sing more for Him, I have a medical condition which to me, prevents me from belting out my notes like I feel they should be done. I want to be able to sing for Him and not have worldy worries, if you know what I mean.

Since we are being real ere, I want to also do the diet thing, but not so much as diet, I want to change my very thought pattern and eating habits. I don't really want to execute the drastic measures I have conjured up in my mind, but to realistically put into action a plan that won't have me sick, moody, or out of His will.

I won't to be a better example to anyone I come in contact with. I want to be a tool in His workshop to be used to build relationships for His Kingdom instead of unscrewing and tearing down anything that once stood for Him.

I want to be a better person, (hence Like myself more), and treat everyone, not just those I know as they should be treated.

I want to discard anything and everything that is not Like Christ in my life. I don't even want to crave it. I want my true calling and purpose to come forth with urgency.

I want those things that I thought were only a mind possiblility to be made manifest in the Natural.

I want to help more in Nicole's ministry, yes I said it openly. It can be whatever God allows, even picking up trash or sitting for hours at her booth selling merchandise, babysitting JoJo or whatever it takes so that her ministry can go forth without hinderance. I feel in doing more I can yet gain experience when my own ministry with the youth grows.

I want to also stop running from and walk into my calling. I want to be made available to Him.

Ok that's enough for now.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You know, Cece, one of the things I love about you is the way you just jump into things. Technically, this akin to the definition of baptism, to plunge into something. You've got whole lotta plungin' to do in 2006 it seems!

But you know what? The Lord will help you. You have so much goodness to share, and I'm with you, sister, all the way!

Oops. Gotta run. I hear things exploding outside! Peter Parker's out there with 3 outta 4 and I believe they're igniting illegal (in GA they're illegal) and I might add, highly flammable things capable of producing serious bodily injury!

What shall the neighbors say?

What you call it depends on where you live, I call it pop, but when I lived in Tennessee, I called it something else.
