You're busted, Cece!

From what Kiersten says, you've got enough candy at your house to keep every sweet tooth satisfied until Halley's Comet shows up again, sometime around 2062. (give or take a little when you factor in stuff like gravitational pull.)

As for me, I'm pretty faithful to chocolate. Especially if it has something inside like nuts, peanut butter, coconut, or mint, but preferably not all at once which I believe, might be spoken of in some circles, as a genuine, bonafide, candy suicide.

The very best candy I've ever eaten in my life was some type of authentic "Mozart" chocolate/almond/ marzipan filled confection my parents brought back from a trip to Austria last spring. They were so good, my daughter and I hid them from, "the boys," and ate them all. Little, crumpled but still somewhat elegant-looking silver and blue wrappers were all that remained of our crime, for which we felt absolutely no remorse...

Cece, dearest, if it's not too much trouble, a Snickers would be quite welcome, right about now...

Wink

Ah, Meg. Peanut M&Ms. Breakfast of champions, staple of goddesses everywhere.

There's almost nothing in the world those little, yellow, bags can't fix...

Unless, of course, you have a rather severe nut allergy in which case, be sure to bring along a spare Epi-Pen.

Cool

I think you are my husband's soul mate. At the moment, he's snoring like Fred Flintsone so I shall inform him tomorrow of this ice cream connection he shares with a total stranger half his age.

He's seriously got an ice cream issue himself. Eats it almost every night, and like you, can finish off a half-gallon without blinking an eye. I've long said that as long as he finds ice cream in the freezer, he can be assured of my love for him, although I do on occasion, get ticked off and stick sherbert in there instead...which he just eats anyway!

Is it safe to assume you're not lactose intolerant?

Ice cream, for the sake of ice cream, I can pass on generally, although I will almost never turn down a Blizzard, preferably a Reese's Blizzard. I write this assuming they have Dairy Queen where you are, Kiersten?

Is it just me, or do all Dairy Queen's appear to be borderline dirty? No offense intended if anyone reading this is an heir of the Dairy Queen empire or simply a delusional fan of the Dilly Bar.

Doughnuts though, now that's another story. I might hurt you over those...

Lucie you are too funny. How is it that I am eating a bowl of sherbert right at this moment. I love French Vanilla Ice Cream the best. I rarely like things in my ice cream, but a bowl of Butter Pecan can bring a huge smile to my face.

As for donuts, I don't know if you have ever heard of Krispie Kremes, but I love the glazed chocolate covered ones. Whew, I just gained five pounds writing this.

Ok I think I'd better get me some water just to wash my thoughts down.

Oh and we have a Dairy Queen, minus the dirt or do I need to look closer?, hmmmm.

Girl! Who hasn't heard of Krispy Kreme?

We Southern women live and die and do everything else in between, for a, "smackeral" of something fried. If it's got sugar all over it, so much the better!

Let the artery thickening commence!

uuh, this conversation can put some pounds on a sista' Razz, Ok Lucie...i thought i was the only one who hid my favorite chocolates from my kids..lol I like your style! Smile

I like ice cream...but it doesn't always like me (lactose and the extra junk in the throat...not so good for singin')so most of the times i have to just look at it, lick my lips and just walk away.

But feel free to eat some on my behalf!
