Now AJ knows how to pick a topic!

Ditto on J.F.

Ditto some of A.J.

The entire Harry Potter series (love J.K. Rowling's genius for peculiar details, I mean, who else would have come up with chocolate frogs?)

A Tale of Two Cities (of course!)

All novels by Frederick Buechner, especially Brendan, Godric, and the Leo Bebb series and for the record, he is my favorite author who happens to still be alive. Everyone loves his non-fiction, I love his fiction and his lovely sentences.

Watership Down is probably the all-around best book I've ever read, couldn't put it down and read it once a year.

And finally, Meet Corliss Archer, a now-out-of-print gem that no one under 50 who isn't female has ever heard of and even then, readers would be scarce. I found it in the attic when I was a kid and felt a special kinship with Corliss who longed for nothing but true love, a fur coat and a comfortable place for her dog to have puppies.
