ok i have a prayer request. ok so my band teacher's husband is also a band teahcer at a different school in our town and he is resigning in the middle of the year because of a fijmly problem...my teacher said that he had some things he needed to do b4 he went back to teaching. our teacher hasn't been in school all this week but today and she came one day but she started crying and had to leave. so if you could just keep both of them in your prayers i;m sure the would apreciate it.

Hi J.F.

Your band director and her family are like hashbrowns at Waffle House, "covered and smothered" by the prayers of all us here. (I didn't include "scattered" because it messed up my simile.)

What instrument do you play?

*Lucie Manette tries to imagine the inside of J.F.'s instrument case -whatever instrument it is- with Funyun dust in it.*

Your parents must be so proud to have a child like you, who -at such a young age- can tell when people are hurting and want to do the one thing that helps the most. (PRAY!) I have someone like you at my house and I'm so proud of her.

You keep praying, being sweet, sensitive and eat a few Funyuns for me! Big Grin

Alto or Tenor? (Can't see you with a baritone sax but anything's possible.)

My daughter Stephannie, will be having surgery on tomorrow to have a cyst removed from her tailbone which burst prematuredly on Friday.

She wasn't due to have it until another week or so,but had to be rushed to the hospita when it burst and she was bleeding very badly and in a tremendous amount of pain..

Please pray.

Thanks so much for your prayers and love. It's so good to know I have my "other family" to lean on.

Stephannie went through the procedure well on yesterday and is home feeling a whole lot better. They didn't remove the cyst totally but where able to remove and scrap out the infections and drain the fluids. They are waiting for them to harden up to remove them, but the pain and discomfort is relieved enough for her normal activities to return.

Continue to keep her in prayer, this is a condition that is repeatable in her system.

My granddaughter who was born early wednesday morning has been having complications since birth. First she was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Then they noticed she was having difficulty breathing. They had to put a breathing tube in and first said she had undeveloped lungs due to the mother losing fluids while pregnant.

After several attempts to remove the tube and her condition was not getting better. The baby (Mahogany)was still unable to breathe on her own so she was sent to another hospital in another city where they did a M.R.I. and a C.A.T. Scan only to find that it was not her lungs as thought, but that she can't breathe out her nose because she has no openings. They will decide on Tuesday if they will have to operate or if they can make the openings another way.

It's quite a lot for a newborn who has been hooked up to tubes since birth. Please join me and friends and churh members in prayer.

UPDATE!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I thank you all so much for your prayers for Mahogany. She had the surgery today and it went very well. It took a little over a hour to perform. Last I talked with her Mom she was resting comfortablly as possible.
On Thursday they will see how the healing is going and if she is able to breathe on her on and the holes remains open. They have tubes which they are administering a cream to heal following the procedure. If that doesn't work, either they will go back in and make the holes bigger, or they will put in what is called (I think) a stint. They will drill those in to help her properly breathe on her own.
I pray all goes well and come Sunday she can return home with her Mom. Mom has had to drop off daily Milk for the baby (breast milk)to put in her feeding tubes. But now they have her a room at the Ronald MacDonald ouse so she can be near the baby and not have to travel in from out of town daily.
