The world wants you to look one way,but why do you care? You wear low cut shirts and fix your hair. You go out thinking "I look good" and everybody stares.it's not you they see. It's what you have to offer that they notice.Do you think somebody will love you if you show off what is sacred? Your body is an instrument, but choose wisely how you use it. Who do you think your fooling? Nobody but yourself! Stop being who others want, and show off who you are. Your a precious diamond, with a few flaws. But i know a wonderful jewler who can fix anything that is wrong!!!
1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adornment be merely outward- arranging hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apperal. Rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very preciou in the sight of God.
I just felt like maybe somebody needed to read that...i hope if it's you it touched you and helps you...Just remember that God makes you beautiful...don't let the world decide who you are and how you dress...you only end up with a lot of pain. God doesnt care what you look like on the outside...You can WASTE your life away doing what others want, Or you can LIVE your life bringing glory to him!!!
AWSOME!!!!! THAT IS SO TRUE!!!!!!!! I ALWAYS WHERE LIKE REALLY MODEST CLOTHING TO LIKE EXTREME (MY MOTO IS COMFERT IS COOL... WELL YA I JUST MADE THAT UP BUT YA I LIKE BEING CONFERTABLE ) AND WELL I KEEP ON THINKING I LOOK UGLY BUT WELL THAT MADE ME LIKE THINK WHY SHOULD I CARE HOW I LOOK OR HOW OTHERS THINK I LOOK AS LONG AS I AM LIVING FOR GOD! ITS THE INSIDE THAT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO!!! AND HOORAY I AHVE RELISED LATLY THAT I CAN BE "COOL" AND MODEST!!! WELL THATS WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN I SAW THAT.... I am so glad that it touched someone...i've been dealing with my appearance my whole life...i've had an eating disorder since i was little...and my dream is to be a model and an actress..so i always thought that being thin and looking awesome was what it was all about...i was struggling with it trying to get the attention of my director and i had the low cut shirt on and the make up and my hair fixed and then i realized it wasn't about that...so i was sitting in the theatre parking lot when i wrote the first part...i'm really happy that somebody else liked it...
