My account of the conference.

First off, Kiersten got to my house on Wednesday, and we kinda hung around the house for a bit. The kids were very good at first at least Sa'Mariayah was.


I cooked dinner and waited until my other dinner guest showed up and we let him eat and then we left for a small birthday celebration at a friend's house.


We later came back and Kiersten and SaMariayah played and got in trouble together, there's only so much noise level I can tolerate, lol. We watched Nicole's dvd together and then went to bed.


Thursday comes along and from the start it seemed hectic. I had to report to the last day of my workshop to end the project my group had been working on,and I did so, I also had an 11:00 appointment with my Doctor and we made a
few stops to pick up film and my prescriptions. We got back home fin time for me to pack and wait on the kids to come home. Sa'Mariayah got in from school and scooby got in from the sitter's. Scooby was every bit the little boy and showed her just how little two year olds can be, gotta love em. My daughter
stopped by and met Kiersten and they took a drive together to get last minute stuff I needed. At last the kids Mom picked them up and we headed to the bus station to start our trip.


We left at 5:00pm and arrived in Nashville at 5:18 am. My girlfriend picked me up at the station and took us to the Hotel. When we got to the Sheraton, it took all of 10 minutes to get us checked in to our room and we went to bed.


We awoke at about 9:30 or so to get our day started. We took our showers and got dressed, well Kiersten was before me cause I am the slow one. We then took a little tour of the hotel and it was beautiful. I met up with several of my friends and we had lunch and got acquainted all over again since we all live so far from each other. Finally the time came to head to the area where the conference was to take place. They had everything set up and had begun getting the special gifts together they were to present us with. We got nice bags with all kinds of goodies in them when we registered. I had just enough time to go upstairs and change into my clothes. I made it downstairs with time to spare.

ohhh let me back up. While waiting on time to arrive we met one of Nicole's dancers. I told Kiersten, hey that looks like the young lady from the dvd and I went over and asked and sure enough it was. Heyyyyyyy Lisa, you are a sweetie. She told us what time Nicole was to be there the next day and it comfirmed with what puresprings told me, so I was good to go.

Ok now back to the story. We got priority seating cause we were members of Cece's message board and therefore it entitled us to VIP seating which is always cool when that happens. Finally the conference began and we were soo hyped. CeCe came up to welcome us and the praise team hit the stage.

All I can say is it was an awesome worship experience. Sister Demetrus gave a few announcements and introduced Mary Mary. Oh my goodnes those sisters are awesome on stage. They sang Praise Party, Yesterday and Heaven. We were jamming and praising God something fierce man. After them came Kelly Price who gave a testimony and sang a song.

Next Ms Cece Winans came on stage to speak to the audience with a wonderful message. One of the members at CeCe's site already typed it up so I will just cut and paste it .

YOU are a Princess - a daughter of THE KING!!!

CeCe started by telling us that we (born again christian women) ARE Princesses!! This is found in I Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light".

Then she told us what being a princess meant. The following six (6) points were made about princesses.

Princesses are:

1) Groomed and trained "NOT" to fit in!
So if you are different (actions, dress, attitudes...)from your classmates, fine.

2) Created to stand out!
Trained to know that they are of value (II Cor 6:17-18). YOU are valuable, that's right Y-O-U

3)Beautiful inside and out!
Does not have to draw attention to herself.
Mt 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven..

4)ALWAYS represents her Father!
Titus 2:10b ...so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.

5)Does not compromise!
I Cor 10:13 - You can praise your way out of anything and you don't have to give in to temptations.

6) Values her position!
Protects herself, guarding her mind, tongue, heart and body. You're too valueable to let others open up your gift. Don't give up your best for a moment of pleasure, because the pain you will suffer is not worth the pleasure.

CeCe then passed out tiaras to each girl so that they could wear them, take them home and be reminded that "YOU ARE A PRINCESS - a daughter of THE KING!!"

The conference was awesome! Nicole, rocked it hard she was AWESOME. Mary Mary was incredible, those sisters sang!!! Kirk Frankin was real and funny.

Hahhaha yeah NicolefaninFL that was funny, I can't even think about doing that, lol.

Ok here is the rest of the story from day 1.

New Dimension - CeCe's dancers as well as her church's. CeCe son Alvin is the choreographer for this group and her daughter Ashley also dances with them as well.

Chocolate christen comedian - This girl had us in stiches. She talked about folks with not so fresh breath and how they are always useing words which begin with "H" and using lots of them. She also
talked about dating and the "G" syndrome, Kiersten will probobly laugh now thinking of it. And last but not least the different kinds of worshippers and the length of the services, she was a "hot mess".

Joy Enriquez sang a song and was just so bubbly and precious. I don't remember the name right now.

Platinum Souls-
They sang this song about having a praise party and being so loud that the cops will come knocking at the door and they had us yell, "we ain't leaving till 6 in the morning", lol. And another one that had a dance that I did not even attempt to try, I ain't crazy. Then the young woman gave her spoken testimony in word, awesome.


Then they did the drawing for a chance to be made over by CeCe's glam squad and a younf lady from Ga won and we would see the finished product the next day.

After that the one's who were to be included in the meet and greet were told where to come and we got to hang out with CeCe and enjoy punch and cake and take pictures. We were even given another bag of treats to take home.

Day 2:
CeCe opened up and welcome everyone back.

Sister Demetrus came and gave the announcements and a few instructions.

LeAnn & the Worship Team - I am a friend of God, he calls me friend.

Living Parables' Skit - "I'm Free" powerful skit about a choice between putting your trust in a man to fulfill you and giving yourself fully over to God.

Lisa McClendon - this sister ad us praising up a storm and even introduced herself as our sister so we can loosen up and join her in praise.

Carolyn Pineda's Testimony - Gave her life testimony and shared with us a deep message about AIDS and HIV. I was soo moved by her life and how God had given her the very best once she made up in her mind to fully trust Him. No matter what you have done, you can always always go to the father and repent and he will give you more than you can ever imagine.

Karla Balonis - sang and encouraged us

Irishea Lewis - Self -Esteem She spoke about being a wothy vessel , priceless, and knowing whose you are. She gave the scriptures in Gen 1:10-12, Collosians 1: 26 , Proverbs 31:10, Psalms 14:2, John 10:10, Matthew 15:21 We are daughters of the King and therefore we have every right to the best and finer things in life.

CeCe and her dancers performed her hit "Pray" from her newest album Purified. We rocked right along with her.

Break Time: meant for checking out of your rooms and then on to Lunch with was provided by puresprings and some went out to eat.

When we came back they announced the winner of the Jamaican trip and showed off the winner of the makeover.

Pastor Hockett - Asked the question, "have someone ever vandalized you, or have you vandalized anyone? He talked about graffiti; being done on and in the body that is supposed to house the Holy Spirit. He talked about the honor in saving yourself for marriage and a Father's role in protecting and proserving his daughter until he gives her over to her husband. He also pointed out that she has a price far above rubies and one must be willing to offer her only the best to be with her. He talked about the shame she could and would bring to her father and household if she was not pure when she married and the consequences of being found out otherwise.

Debbie Winans - Read to us a Virtuous Woman poem

Nicole Mullen - Awwwwwwwwwww my lil sister. Nicole took the stage and the hearts of her listening audience. She flashed that wonderful captivating smile of hers and started out singing Black, White, Tan. Then she sang Homemade which is a personal favorite of mine cause it seems as if it was wrote for me and the circumstances in my life. Then Nicole just took everyone into worship mode by singing and performing "When I call on Jesus" That girl has more energy that just should not be alotted to one individual. I love her ministry and her spirit so much.


Kirk Franklin - when this man took the stage, pandamonia broke out. One he posed for enough pictures and I do mean posed, CeCe came and said, ok no more pics now cause Kirk had to get to his message. His main point was to encourage us to live a life that would make God look attractive. He gave the young girls and women an account from life's experiences of just what guys think about and their angles they take to get what they want. He was deep and very real. He also cracked us up at some point. He was hilarious He then took questions from the audience which lead to sister Demetrus and CeCe responding.

Demetrus Stewart - Spoke to us about not accepting the labels that the world give us but accepting and walking in the POWER that Christ Jesus gives us!!

CeCe came up and Thanked everyone for coming and told us about the next one in August and said to register early if we plan on attending.

Ok did I mention that afterwards we got to talk with Nicole and others from the board met up and we took pics and chatted and I even tried to make a few Bucks for the "ministry", lol ok it was my ministry but Nicole shut my business venture down, lol.

I hope to have pics to post soon maybe at one of my sites or here, we will see.
