POEM FOR NICOLE
Life sometimes presents the darkest of paths
It seems there could never again be light,
And just when you feel it's all over
Gods light shines ever so bright.

Then through tough times there grows hope
Whether it be through prayer or the lyrics of a christian song,
You begin to pick up some of the pieces
Of all the events in your life gone wrong.

A song once stated that God would move heaven and earth
To come and rescue me when i call,
And these lyrics struck a cord in my heart
Prompting me to give God my all.

You see I can now do all things through Christ
He gives me the strength I need,
I'm here for the rescuing and God loves to save me
He didn't leave me here to hurt and bleed.

And now I thank God for His grace
His love consistently gets me through,
And I thank Him that when I called to Him for help
Through your lyrics He sent me you.

My question for anyone who reads this poem I wrote to Nicole is this:
All we will ever need in life is given to us by God, that is our belief, but what happens sometimes when lifes situations get so tough that you lose sight of that promise? And what's the best thing you can do to shift your focus back to God
Bless you all
Noah

Hey J.f,
I like call on Jesus. As you can tell by my poem it's the song that kind of helped me out when I was going through a rough time. I'm a new fan actually, I only heard of Nicole when I was watching Christian tv on Cable at home. She has an awesome voice and an amazing passion for God, you feel how she feels towards Jesus and that's impacting.
It's funny how we're on opposite sides of the world and chatting. Internets cool hey.
What's it like where you live, what's your church like?

Hi J.F,
tornados wow, I'm glad you've never been in one also. It's cool that we believe in a God so big that even if a tornado did come to town it would fly by and not effect you because we're under His protection. I grew up in a catholic church and when I was thirteen or so I had an extreme encounter with Jesus and I guess I find His presence more in the Charismatic churches (like the baptist) but I've come to realise that it's important ONLY that He lives within me. Hey it's pretty warm here in Australia, we're waiting for the cold to start happening. I love how Baptist Churches really sing and dance to Christian music. Is your Church crazy about the music?

our church loves music sings some prety cool music but some of it is kinda boring and slow. Smile The first time one of my friends went to the church we were singing a song WAY to slow and it was like somthing about haw we are gettin somewhere or somthin thike that so they were all jokin about how we were gettin there but realy slowly. luckly the music is getting faster! i thought they sang o come let us adore to fast at chrismas time so we are getting there. we don't realy dance we do some action things and clap every now and then stuff like that. our youth group has some prety cool music but we sing it over and over every week so it gets kinda old after you've sang the sam esong like 1 million weeks in a row. Wink well i'd better get goin

Hey Noah I know you posted that poem a little while ago but i think it so amazing that you wrote something like that. and its so true. i will tell u a little about me, i am almost 15 (in 13 days) i live in gippsland victoria AUS. but in the last year i have been through a really tough time with problems at church. home and school. i thought i had no one there for me. there was a point in time when i was so angry at God for what he was doing to me that i started to ignore him. i didnt want to know God. at one stage there i was so close to killing myself, luckily something or someone stopped me. i dont know who or what it was but now i am so glad i didnt go through with it. Today i am stronger than ever, a few months ago i recommited my life to the Lord and things hve been so good i the last 2 months or so. i think now i am finally coming out of the woods, not everything is perfect. but God is so wonderful i hope i never get angry with him again. God has blessed me so much lately, i have a great group of awesome friends. they are so good to me i love them heaps. it just goes to show that when u think god must have somthing against you for doing these things to you, there is a reason, and i truley believe that! i am a much stronger person than ever before and when i finsih school and go to uni i want to become a counsellor to help young people like me that are stuggling in life. just this saturday gone i got back from china, it was a wonderful experience and i thank God for that oppatunity. it was easter while i was over there so i didnt realy celebrate easter, but i didnt forget what Jesus did for me. i hope to hear from you soon. i just wanted to show you how life has come from being so bad to so good. so thanks and
God Bless,
<3 Becca -XoX-

Hey JC4Eva,
before I knew God, I wrote poems about love and life and then when I knew God He was all I could write about because He is Love and He is now my life. Thanks for the reply. I'm 23 from Sydney and a fashion designer/artist. Your testimony is awesome. I thank you for sharing it with me. I pray that you'll never feel that bad ever again and I send praises to God for your recovery. You know God took me to a place once where everyone had left me and I didn't know why, I've got a huge family so I always had people around me. God was showing me that I couldn't rely on the Jesus in my friends and family, I had to trust the Jesus in me. You see for ages I felt like because my friends and family where christian, they COULDN'T hurt me when in actual fact they could and they did. God brought me to the scriptures that showed me that the same people that said Hosanna in the highest to Jesus were the same people that shouted crucify Him. That's us we're human and we hurt. I thank God for giving me that testimony because if He didn't show me who He is and I wouldn't have ever known Him or trusted in Him, I would have just kept on looking to my friends and family for answers. Who better to get answers from than God? Hey what's your church like?
Bless you
Noah
