Dear Nicole,

I'm doing this for my 10 year old daughter. Let me tell you the story...

At the beginning of January we found out that the baby I am carrying has SpinaBifida. We decided to pursue medical treatment through a National study called MOMS. We were selected for a inutero surgery to repair our babys back before he is born. This requires me to be in Nashville at Vanderbilt University for the remainer of my pregnancy. My family is in Iowa. The separation has been tough, but we are surviving with God's constant help. My daughter is a fan and knows you live near Nashville. She is also quite sure that I will run into you at some time I've tried to explain that I'm not moving around much and that Nashville is a big city, but she still holds out hope. The kids are coming to visit me March 1-5. Is there any chance that you are doing a record signing or appearance somewhere in the area? My mother's heart would love to make it possible for her to somehow shake your hand.

I know this a bit crazy, but I had to try....

Cheri first off I am very touched that you would share a bit of your life with us here. I don't know if Nicole is doing anything off her scheldule, but that would be wonderful if you and your daughter could meet her,

I have a friend who has spina bifida, and she leads a wonderful and productive life. She travels around to different CeCe events and concerts and has a blast even though she is wheelchair bound. This past October she got a chance to meet Nicole, actually Nicole made it a point to go over and meet her.

I pray the procedure goes well and you are soon your feet. I don't know a lot about this thing but have watched a number of Discovery Health Channel to know how serious this is.

I see Nicole's tour schedule on the website. Is there a way to find out if she is doing anything locally the weekend of the 3rd?
