I first heard of Nicole Mullen by watching a show called CeCe's Place on Oddysey and she sang backup for CeCe Winans along with others. I then heard a song on TBN and when they announced the name I said it sounded familiar. Well the rest is History.
I just Love Nicole C. Mullen. This message has been edited. Last edited by: CeCeNicole, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |

I saw her "Talk about it" video on a christian music station on satalitte TV here in England. As soon as the record finished and I saw the details come up of who the artist was I went straight to my pc and tried to find out more about the song and if she had an album. Within about a month I had finally found somewhere that sold her music.

3 years ago when I recieved Christ and decided to no longer listen to hip hop and world music. I prayed for the Lord to help me find music that pleased him and I could really enjoy. Long behold I found KSBJ God Listens radio station and hear "when i call on Jesus" that was the only song in my heart for over a year. every where I went I was singing it. That song is POWERFUL.. Then came Redeemer and that just filled my spirits with Faith as well. Since then I have been a fan and thank her for her music because my 5 year old also now loves her music..PRAISE GOD AND GOD BLESS ALL

I'm adopted. I'm bi racial (black and white) and my adoptive family are all white and Native American. My Mom and Grandma think I need more positive black role models. So we changed churches and go to a racially mixed church now and Grandma also took me to see Nicole and I think she is wonderful! It's like she remembers what it's like to be a kid and lots of her songs seem like they were written for us. I think God uses Nicole to talk to us. Tay

I heard about Nicole 4 years ago. There were a few people that we went to Church with going to see her at a nearby college and wanted my Mama and myself to go. We were getting over the flu and my sister had just got home with her new baby so we didn't really know if we were up to it, but we went and God changed our lives through Nicole. Nicole sang a song that night that couldn't have touched anybody as much as it did us. We were going through such a hard time in life where half of our family no longer speaks to us. The reason for that is because the precious little baby that my sister just brought home was a 'tan' baby. When Nicole sang Black, White and Tan it had a GREAT meaning in my life and to this day I cry when I hear it. We met Nicole afterwards and got the Cd and have listened to her since then. There is nothing like hearing a song that reminds you no matter what color you are God sees us no different. Now the family still doesn't speak or come around, but God has given us a peace about that and we know that they are the ones in the wrong here because God doesn't see color. Now Lexi is almost 4 and she has a little brother and another one on the way!

Met Nicole back in the day in Nashville at Word records when she was still writing songs for her first record (like "Farewell" & "Granny's Angel" - great songs...not to mention"On My Knees") She was the sweetest kind of person - really giving and just NICE. The coolest thing about her (beside her wailing pipes-for-days voice) was that she really does love people. She's a superstar, but she's still hangs out with the youth girls from her church and stuff...Nicole is a classy lady.
I can love her music and love her at the same time - 'cause I know she's for real! CN |

That's my babysitter, a 14 years old girl from Quebec City that introduce me to Nicole music with "talk about it" cd. (She buy music directly from the U.S.) Her grand-ma came from U.S. too...so anyway...
Since this time I bought "Nicole C. Mullen", "Live from Cincinati DVD" and "Everyday people" and I will probably buy "talk about it " soon!!! This music always put a smile on my face even when I am washing the dishes!!! |

I was in the Lemstones at Coral Ridge Mall, in Iowa City/Coralville, Iowa, and I was looking for some new music. I usually listen to a very different kind of Christian music, mostly Ska, such as the Supertones, Insyderz, and Five Iron Frenzy. I wanted to broaden my horizons, and they were having a clearance, so I was able to convince my Mom to buy me two CD's!
Since I was looking for something new, I, didn't really know much about the artists, so I went by looks and what little I did know. I picked out Chris Rice: "Smell the Color 9" because I had heard that song, and the case was cool! I also picked out another CD, Nicole C. Mullen's self-titled album, because of the pretty girl on the cover. *blushes, embarassed* It turned out that that pretty lady was an awesome musician, and an even more awesome Sister in Christ! I had heard some of her songs on local Christian Radio, but I didn't really know who she was before. Now, she is one of my favorites! Even though I've never met her, I know that she is my Sis' in Christ, and it's great to know what a great family we have! Grace and Peace! |
