Question:
Out of curiosity.......how old/young were you when you came to know the Lord as your personal Saviour and Redeemer? the reason i ask this question is that my friends and i were discussing what the average age would be. how old a child is before they can actually understand. which i personally think that it varies from one person to the other. anyway so i was curious what the results of this poll would be. have a great day!

A journey of faith -in this life- for most of us begins many years before we are consciously aware of it. Sometimes a child, who trusts and feels God's presence and believes in utter innocence and simplicity, gets side-tracked by various, generally negative, life experiences that can be devastating to spiritual development. What might feel like, "I became a Christian at 19" may very well have had it's beginnings much earlier. That's one of the most beautiful attributes of God, the ever-flowing stream of chances to connect and reconnect with Him all throughout our lives, that salvation is not only one "moment," frozen in time, it's a process as well that we continue to experience.

Ever plant begonias in the spring? I did once and as soon as they were planted, a neighbor's dog came over and destroyed the flower bed for some mysterious reason, pulled up, chewed apart all those begonias. We tried replanting them and the dog, Skippy, who meant no harm and was just being a dog, did the same thing again! But wouldn't you know it? A fragment of those little flowers remained that we couldn't see and a year later, much to our surprise, and delight, begonias began to sprout and bloom in that very same place. A developing faith in Christ, is very much like that for many people...
