Hey Nicole, I tried waiting after your performance in West Monroe, La, but the line was so incredibly long and I was so incredibly hungry! I just wanted to thank you for being such an encouragement to me. Of course I listen to your music and that is always an encouragement, but seeing a woman in a Baptist church, praising the Lord, and DANCING...well, I've been trying to do that for years and I always get the weird looks. Thanks for showing it's ok to praise HIM! The whole night I kept thinking to myself, "Nicole C. Mullen is my long lost sister!" I mean, you were tearing it up on stage with those pop-n-lock moves, you were cracking jokes, you even threw in a little Spanish, and also involved with Compassion. Let's just say we have a lot in common! So, I'm kind of a funky white gal who is a little too ghetto to be in this country town, but you said something at your concert. You said, those things only describe me, they do not define me. If that wasn't a message from God I don't know what was. Keep doing what you're doing. I've never had a role model before, but you are definitely one. I hope you read this. Really I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me it's ok to be me...and being me isn't such a bad thing. God sent you just at the right time.
